After a bit of remodeling after last year's monsters wrecked the place (and my karaoke bar), Sakura BBQ & Drive-Inn is re-open for business.


Also updated menu.

(This is one of the things I mentioned in my last AMA regarding local cuisine; not the one I made during Halloween)

 

The arroz con pollo bowl is pretty much as it says; chicken and rice.

(Those of you familiar with Spanish cuisine might know what it is; I've only eaten it once or twice, mind you)

Then again, passing health inspections in Hawai'i wasn't easy (note that green placard).

I've had chicken and rice, but never loco moco! I've heard it's super good though. :D
