Dragulas
[spoiler=Lore]1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersIf this card is Synchro Summoned by using a "D/D/D" monster as a Material: You can return up to 2 "Dark Contract" cards you control to the hand; banish that same number card on the field. You can only use this effect of "D/D/D Tyrant King Ramses" once per turn. Once per turn, when you take effect damage (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "D/D" monster from your Graveyard, or 1 of your banished "D/D" monsters. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, after damage calculation: Banish that opponent's monster, and if you do, gain LP equal to that monster's original ATK. Notthefreakingme
Cool card. It really matches how DDDS work. Howling plus d' ark is really easy to do which makes this card even better. The only problem i have with this card is that its a bit underpowered for a level 10 synchro. I suggest increasing the ATK to 3200 so that it would be slightly better but that's just me. Overall nice card.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Triangulum, entangulum. Meteforis dominus ventium. Meteforis venetisarium! Now then, let's take a look at what we have here! Oh! A Different Dimension Devil! No wonder I was called in! Now then, let's read this over... Hmm, hmm... I see... Gotta say, kid, I am a fan of what you got going on here! It can be summoned with Night Howl and any of the level 7 monsters, and definitely makes it well worth it! The on-summon effect will typically banish 2, maybe 3 cards, but that is quite a lot, and helps to clear out the opposing monsters to OTK! The second effect is also quite powerful, allowing reuse of Kepler, or just bringing out more monsters from grave to push for game! Of course, with the advent of D'arc, this effect is less likely to go off, but it makes a great backup, like Tell. The final effect is just icing, preventing recursion and hurting pendulum decks, while also further padding the life total! And basing it on Ramses? Well aren't you a clever one! Anyway, I would say this is a really nice addition to the archetype, and far better than most of the D/D/D support that shows up around here! The Highlander
Way to make better support for D/Ds than all 3 new cards from the new structure deck pendulum domination.10/1. This card has everything a somewhat restricted effect following the D/D idea of mass summoning, instant value and a battle threat effect on top of respectable stats.Considering this still takes somewhat of a setup it is indeed extremely, extremely good, however not really broken and a good backup card for D/Ds adding more value to conservated contracts. On top of all the previous pros this card also has an amazing artwork for what it seems to be supposed to be. Dragulas
Gotta say, this guy is REALLY cool. I just have a slight problem with the Mist Wurmshula effect, mass banish on summon is REALLY powerful for a card that's not THAT hard to Summon. Maybe limiting it to just one banish? That effect would only go off if you use a 3D monster (the big ones), then again thats not difficult to achieve. If you dont use a 3D monster+ howl (D'arc and aexander), you will have to include berfomet in the equation, and i doubt someone would do that unless they need it for 3200 atk.But yesterday i tested them and if ramses was real, i could have banished 2 or 3 cards each duel (on the ones my plays went off) I restricted the banish effect to 1 card, but at the "cost" of returning a contract to the hand
Dragulas
Uh, I take it you ARE aware that returning a contract to the hand is not a "cost", right?Speaking in terms of mechanics it is, so the contract can dodge MST and stuff .That aside, im aware that doesnt represent any downside to the player at all. Contracts are only OPT, you cant loop them. But it can help you if you want to avoid masive burn. And depending on the situation, you will probably activate it again anyways to get the SS effect of ramses (asuming it lives another turn)
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Banishing multiple is fine. It can be easily compared to Baxia.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I'm just gonna go through this a bit at a time.Except banishing is more damaging to your opponentThis is debatable. A common side card right now is Imperial Iron Wall, which would be sided against D/D/D due to its utility against Swirlal, Swamp King, and Abyss Ragnorok.unless they're playing a deck that allows them to reuse banished stuff, and the only one currently is KozmoActually, Bujinki Amaterasu is popular in rank 4 decks, due to its synergy with Performage Damage Juggler. Not to mention, once again, that Imperial Iron Wall and Artifact Lancea are commonly teched answers to this. Also, Kozmo have Strawman for further recursion, but this is semanticsYang Zings are objectively weaker than D/DsWell, this is just untrueBaxia is harder to summon2800 atk baxia immune to traps and shuffling in 3 cards is playable off of jiaotu and any 2 YZ in hand.D/Ds were a bit lacking in removal, and this was their biggest weaknessTheir biggest weakness is vulnerability to having their backrow removed. Dragulas
Changed the effect to bounce up to 2 contracts to banish that same number of cards. Also it now SS from grave and banished, no longer from the extra, they dont have a card that can bring their resources back from the banished pile, and lilith has the extra deck covered Giga is right Imperial Iron wall, is common side, and against this deck it works. The archetype however needs some type of non targeting non destruction effect, because asuming the problem is not that easy to run over by battle, the only answer they have is caesar ragnarock, and you have to attack to make it work
