[spoiler Pendulum Effect]You can Special Summon "Ancient Gear" monsters, ignoring the Summoning conditions. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can place this card from your Pendulum Zone face-up in your Extra Deck; Fusion Summon 1 non-Pendulum Fusion monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters, including 1 or more "Ancient Gear" monsters, from your hand or side of the field as Fusion Materials.

[spoiler Monster Effect]

When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can add 1 "Geartown" or "Ancient Gear" monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When an "Ancient Gear" monster you control attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If this card in your Monster Zone is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or card effect): You can place this card in one of your unoccupied Pendulum Zones.

Alas, the accidental omission of "Monster Zone" in the contest version tipped the scales against my favour.

Queeeeeeeestion. First Pendulum effect. Where can you Special Summon them from? Anywhere?

The standard prevention of Spell/Trap cards activating on attack is okay, I guess, but I find it very lackluster. Most (not all) Ancient Gears already do that, and the other cards I doubt you would even use. Perhaps buff to add monster effects or just plain stop cards or effects?

I like the idea behind it, just needs some tweaking.

It's anywhere, that's mean you can Pendulum Summon Golem, or if you have this card in your Pendulum Zone, You can Coth Golem

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatt? Yes, nice~

Hmmm, so now we have alternative of AncientgearPendulum.dek

Gadjiltron, is this just a single card or are you planning on making another Pendulum related for Ancient Gear? I'm curious and interested.

But...no OPT....of any sort.... or location....what?!

You can Summon from Deck, Hand, Graveyard, Banished Zone, face-up in the Extra Deck and face-down in the Extra Deck?! Any number of times per turn?!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatt?

I don't think it outright says "hey SS all the Ancient Gears", but now the restrictions are off.

Which is cool.

With this guy camping out in a Pendulum Zone, Ancient Gears are much faster, and if a complimentary Scale (say, a 2 or 3) came out, we'd be Pendulum Summoning Golem, Beast, and the like, and then Ancient Gears become relevant again.

Okay, last post regarding this topic: What does that Pendulum effect "You can Special Summon "Ancient Gear" monsters, ignoring the Summoning conditions." do? Does it have a location without specifying one? Does it have a limit without specifying one? I would like to understand how it works for future cards.

This means that you are not restricted by the Ancient Gears' usual "Cannot be Special Summoned" restrictions that otherwise hamstring them. You can CotH Golem, Beast, or UAGG. You can Pendulum Summon Golem/Beast from your hand. Et cetera. This card effect only permits your other effects to do the SS'ing, but cannot do anything on its own. Other restrictions imposed by other cards will still be valid, e.g. you still can't SS if you use Duality.
