Anti-Spell is a better out, but this could end up different in the Magician/Pepe mirror since both decks have hard times countering each other. Main issue is maintaining the no card in hand condition. In Magicians, they don't have much floatiness and coherency as Pepe has. Usually they need to recover monsters in hand via Oafdragon or Kirin to defend for next turn in case of a Wavering Eyes or other S/T hate, whereas Pepe can float into something else like Juggler for more searches. As long as its used in Game 2 and beyond, it won't be dead in hand as much and has a decent ATk to jump over. However, losing Hound can end up in worse consequences when you have nothing else in your hand to recover plays from. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
