VCR_CAT
http://www.polygon.com/2015/12/17/10397280/league-of-legends-team-exec-pharma-villain-arrested-on-securities Whatever that means. The crime sounds a lot more like illegal misappropriation of funds. Also, this is really dumb: "In August, Shkreli bought the rights to a drug used by people with compromised immune systems, including those with AIDS, and then bumped its price from $13.50 a tablet to $750 a pop." Also VCR did a news post WUT WUT
Madsen
ROFL "LoL team exec"literally no one gives a funk about his esports affiliation. He's a douchebag who gauged prices on aids drugs. That's more than 'really dumb', he's literally a shitty Bond villain. For what it's worth, he's also the person who bought Wu Tang's 2 million dollar album. But in general he's the scum of the earth and he's possibly killing people with his dickery. Why this website thought that him being the owner of a League team is in any way relevant is beyond me.
ihop
Madsen beat me to it. He's a noxious human being and I wish him nothing but ill will. edit: oh btw, the reason that website found it "relevant" is because it's a gaming website. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah.A lot of people hate this guy because he cares more about his profits than the lives of people who need the drug. Honestly, I don't give a damn that he's a LoL team executive or whatever; we only care that he jacked up a drug's price by over 5000% and got marked as an jabroni. The fact he got arrested for fraud and trying to cover up his old debts further shows that he's an immoral human being. Although, in his defense, he's not the only one who charges outrageously high prices for drugs, but this doesn't get him off the hook though. Hopefully he gets a long prison sentence, because yeah he's nothing more than a corporate scumbag.
~ P O L A R I S ~
It's telling that he got arrested for this and not the inflation of a life-sustaining drug. Has he even lost the rights to that? :\ Just imprisoning him might be in order but wouldn't exactly square that circle...

Has he even lost the rights to that? :\ nah afaik the market price is still for $750 a tablet when it's less than a pound over here and basically pennies in India. Free markets putting in work there. Ryusei the Morning Star
basically pennies in IndiaThat's largely due to the BJP's entertaining failure in '04 where they tried to go full US free market....and lost in a landslide. America is too bloated and corrupt and the 99% have no real voices so swines here can get away with a 5000% price hike where as you cannot in countries like India. I'm ignorant to the economic workings of England, but I assure you are less pro-business conservative there?
