So, if most of the cards you're running are monsters, meaning that you're most likely going to be discarding monsters for Divine Wrath, then isn't this just as good as Divine Wrath but with added potential to negate Traps and Spells? The only downside of it compared to Divine Wrath in the situation you described is that you can't discard a Spell/Trap to negate a monster effect, but that doesn't matter so much seeing as most of your deck is monsters.

Unless I'm missing something here, if so please help.

You said exactly why... You can't discard an S/T.

Divine Wrath consistently does what it does. This is inconsistent. Not neccesarily in actuality, but at least on paper. You have to have the right cards for any situation.

black hit the nail on the head it's not good, and ariadne is rarely face-up as a pendulum scale, even when getting duplicated by Dracoslayer (you would want to search notice as you can actually hit p summons) which is practically the only scenario where you would have the option to place it in the pzone (post-wavering eyes its an undesirable search and even then it falls victim to the below reason)

Sure you can leave it face-up so you ignore the discard cost, but then you are trading away a 2nd counter trap post PS off a Sorceror pop zzz

Not even sure why an OCG context is being applied, it's not even that good in that scenario because again witth the introduction of more backrow only backrow decks benefit and those backrow decks won't be running ariadne to get this out and will be playing other more "consistent" traps like lo and behold ASF.

Also having a spell to discard is rare in said backrow decks outside of maybe monarchs? which begs the question why are you playing this before Solemn Notice or even Magic Drain.

Well people are playing magic drain, it's just this in the context of pals is harder to stop than an off chance twin twister going off due to clash being dead relatively fast

Ok, so if you're running 3 Rescue Rabbit, and 3 Clash of the Draco Rivals, resolving one of each. Would at best case leave you 1 Master 2 Overlord, 2 Luster. Resolving a second Bunny would make the 2nd and 3rd clash dead. Resolving a Second Clash would make the 2nd and 3rd bunny dead.

Point being, you should have enough spells to discard if you're playing the Bunny-Ariadne build. That being said, it's inferior in the spell negating department to Naturia Beast and likely Hope Harbinger too, but the extended utility pretty much secures it a spot in Dracopals
