Sleepy Posted January 5, 2016 Report Share Posted January 5, 2016 Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand/field as Fusion Materials. You can also use 1 non-DARK FLIP monster from your Deck as Fusion Material. FLIP monsters used as Fusion Materials by this effect are Special Summoned in face-down Defense Position. If a face-down monster(s) Summoned this way would leave the field by a card effect, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead. It is a sort of reverse Shaddoll Fusion in the sense that it will support most generic FLIP monsters except the Shaddolls. Which already set themselves so it can still support them. It also protects those more generic FLIPs from a potential field wipe. Unlike Shaddoll Fusion, it doesn't require special conditions to bring out a material from the deck, but it can only be a single material that is a non-dark (mostly AKA non-Shaddoll) material. Yes, FLIP materials used from the hand will also end up being set face-down, not only the one pulled from the deck. Or Zirconia if you wanted to use the other Jars and Pots as well (including the Level 9 one)! Other uses that seem pretty nice are Magician of Faith, Crystal Seer Summoner of Illusions and the Charmers with Supreme Arcanite Magician. Overall, the card seems very interesting. Posted January 5, 2016 Report Share Posted January 5, 2016 * You exclude DARK but not LIGHT as well? *ahem* There aren't really a lot of Fusion monsters that use FLIP monsters as Material, outside of the mentioned Shaddolls. So I'm wondering if this was intended moreso as support for an Archetype of sorts you are making, to which, you chose not to make This card related to it. But if that's the case, why not just straight-up do so? Would let you make DARK "Flippin' " monsters, and you could get away with removing the Attribute restriction. EDIT: I misread it- You can totally do silly things like use This to Fusion for Absolute Zero, and use something like Penguin Soldier from the Deck + Mist in your hand/field.
