Since "you" and "your opponent" actually refer to the current controller, I've had to reword the effect so it becomes clear, seeing how this card appears on the opponent's side of the field. "if you control but do not own" condition ensures that if you somehow need this card around on the field for yourself you are not subject to the LP loss.

Still, it's rather mediocre, being what amounts to a miniature Lava Golem with some attempts to make it more difficult to get rid of. However, LV4 monsters are still frequently used for Synchro Summons, and unlike Lava Golem, it doesn't provide a nigh-unstoppable method of removing monsters.

You just fixed the OCG, but not seeing any visible changes to the card in terms of playability.

Yes, you can lock off the opponent's Xyz Summons but also keep in mind the opponent can still make Synchros, Fusions, Rituals (if inclined) or even use this card as Tribute fodder for higher Level monsters or other things (Gadjiltron already mentioned the first one). That and 500 LP burn isn't a lot, considering you are milling 1/8 of your Deck (assuming a standard 40-card Deck) to give your opponent a 1500 ATK monster that doesn't do much.

In a nutshell, your opponent has a free monster to either hit you with and/or use as fodder for their own bosses that are not Xyz, and you're out 5 cards.

Either lower the Deck mill cost or buff the effect to make it worth the effort.

Interesting choice of words. With that, not only can you stop it from being used for Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Summons, but any form of Contact Fusion (if even possible).

The next concern lies in the ability for a lucky player to SS multiples of it at once. Seeing 1 doing 1000 LP a turn is okay, seeing multiples work their magic can become a point of concern. I'll leave it to a second opinion to confirm if this concern is a valid one.
