mitchermitcher
>decent country such as Americalol Based solely on the definition provided at the beginning of the video I suppose I lean towards the right. Fixing societal issues is important sure, but I think one's own moral self-improvement sounds more important. I saw another video by these Prager U blokes about modern art and I kinda can agree with that, but this one just screams preachiness down your throat. I find myself agreeing with some of the main points presented in this but I find the apparent bias towards one side over the other way too thick. Dad
This jabroni said character issues are the reasons "rape culture" is said to exist. So I guess if she acts a certain way you have the right to rape her? Way to troll me. Bye.

So I guess if she acts a certain way you have the right to rape her? Way to troll me. Bye.No, he said in a society founded on the principle to ignore your own flaws and instead fix everyone else's problems, then the only way a rape culture could exist is if it originates from character flaws of the people. Otherwise the problem would have been eradicated due to the common thought of said generation. Which is the exact paradox that lies within radical left thought. Not saying there aren't problems with radical right thought as well (cuz wheeww boy there sure are), but for anything in life it's about MODERATION. A BALANCE between left and right thought. That's what this video was trying to highlight by showing the goods and bass of both sides

Bye.Or, more likely from what I interpreted, rapists are the ones with character issues that aren't addressed - which, to be fair, is pretty true. Arctic55
Let's face it guys, in general, America's morals have taken a huge dive starting probably around the 1960s, which is when disco started. Ok, I was joking about the disco thing. To be honest, the video is a little extreme, but it has some very obvious and valid points. But seriously, major moral fall. Now, how do we fix that? Well, I'm not sure we can anymore, at least not easily. Seeing as people no longer believe in religious morals (the foundation to a solid, unchanging moral system as long as you believe in that religion), and fathers (the moral example to kids and given standard of manhood to boys) is all wishy washy abandon my responsibilities nowadays... we got a lot of work to do. Anyone got any ideas as to a solid plan?
Maeriberii Haan
That, in my opinion, is a really vague prompt that wouldn't lead anywhere.

This makes more sense. I perhaps perceived the message improperly.
Tentacruel
On this issue I would definitely lean more to the right. You can't, (in my opinion), improve society by "fixing" other people. Sometimes there are societal problems that do need fixing. For example, some of the prejudiced laws we used to have needed to be changed, and affirmative action has had positive effects in many implementations. That being said, I do thing more emphasis needs to be placed on personal betterment and responsibility.
