~Faytl~
Nomal SpellSend the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, draw 1 card, then place this card on top of your Deck. If you draw this card placed on top of your Deck by this effect, send it to the Graveyard. Was rewatching the Crashtown arc in 5Ds yesterday, and this card came up. Thought it was interesting and had some good uses, despite the disadvantage it's last effect presents. Discuss.

That isn't how thinning works as a concept. Card is honestly super cool. Promotes grave strategies, as well as shuffle effects. If the second effect goes off, it ends up ranging from mediocre to straight up bad, but once the drawback is circumvented, it is nothing short of incredible. Seems like a thin 5 to me. Wonder if it triggers dolls
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Since the cards milled are randomized, considering the removal of them from the deck to be thinning is a fallacy. "Thinning" is selectively removing cards from the deck, so as to increase the odds of drawing other cards. Cycling through igknights increases the odds of drawing Tyrant's Temper, terraforming removed a copy of chicken game from the deck, increasing the odds of drawing stormforth off of said chicken game, the list goes on. With this, you are milling 4 random cards, them drawing a card. Since these milled cards are (for all intents and purposes) indeed random, you are not altering the probability of drawing any given card in any sort of controllable sense. As a matter of fact, this card doesn't actually thin the deck at all. By placing itself back inside the deck, the net change is 4 cards milled (which I already explained to not be considered thinning) and this card having swapped with the top card of your deck. With this now being the top card by its own effect, it is a dead card, which directly violates the concept of thinning the deck in the first place. Even after shuffling, the card is still in your deck, and you are just as likely to draw it as you are any other given card remaining. In the short term, such as just trying for 1 more chance at a card you need in a given hand, or when used with a shuffle effect on each activation, this behaves in a manner similar to deck-thinning effects, but without additional help, it's function (sheerly as a draw spell, disregarding the mill) is much more similar to Reckless Greed, granting yourself temporary benefit at the cost of later disadvantage. Of course, this card's mill effect is the truly exciting part. While it does not thin the deck in any real sense, milling can be considered to be a form of low-value card draw, as the game has many ways to utilize a filled grave. Card trooper is good for more than just being a 1900 floater, and this is powerful in a similar sense. And yes, this triggers dolls, since they cannot miss timing.
