In the anime, this concept would be a pretty interesting card to use against the heroes coming from an enemy of the week kind of character.

IRL, it lacks a balancing feature.

You need to make it so that all players must have SOME hand before this card activates. Otherwise you just drain your cards before activating this and then win the duel.

 

This thread was moved while I was posting this..... interesting. Well, it kind of deserves to be at this new location until it is edited enough to warrant coming out from jail.

 

I don't think it is enough of a guessing game. Its effect is a tad convoluted and hard to understand, though from what I gather, both have to discard if the guess is right, and must pretty much do nothing if the guess is wrong, but the guess is just padding on the effect rather than the focus that could make the guesses more interesting... In return, as long as one guesses something right, the clock will keep on ticking, and since both players would know the general idea of each other's decks, one will likely not have the other one's call often enough.

 

It has issues that need to be worked up all around, to be honest.

Not to be a killjoy, but I feel the need to point this out.

 

Play a card like, I don't know, Card of Demise, Into the Void, etc, or any other card that can rapidly empty your hand/etc -> Play this as the last card in your hand to auto-win.

 

TC, you might want to fix this.
