He can put on an amazing show, drop the most inspiring words you've ever heard, and turn a piano and violin into the dopest beat you've heard. Kanye can be whimsical when he wants to be. He's a fantastic producer, arguably one of the best in the game. Hell, Timbaland is hard pressed to compete--not regarding the fact that he and Kanye are super tight--knowing Kanye's skill. But I feel like Kanye hasn't been the same since his mom passed. She was such an influence on his music. And I feel like her death really left a hole in Kanye (though to be fair, it would for most people). It's affected his lyricism. It's affected his outlook on life. It's affected his general attitude, but it hasn't completely stopped him from being a powerful force in this game. I don't like some of the sheet he's done,--the Taylor Swift mess--but he's actively tried to make up for it. Whether a public apology or just another heartfelt track, at least he's trying to be the old Kanye. That's what I was hoping for with his last album, but he let me down again. YCM's Organization XIII Roleplay, with Zex, Larx, myself, Phantom Roxas, and a few others. Currently running: I have to say the Grand Crossover Role-play. I know it seems biased, but hear me out. You're talking about a massive scale. Now we all know how big rps can get, and how quickly big rps fall apart. This one, however, is somehow still glued together. The pieces still fall in line with one another, and the story--strange as it is--still makes sense. A high post count, a fantastic story, a number of beautifully written posts, and a series of ups and downs keep me entertained when I read it. And if you haven't read it, I think you'd enjoy it.
