Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes from either side of the field to Normal Summon to that side of the field (cannot be Normal Set), then shift control to this card's owner during the End Phase of the next turn. Cannot attack. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or by card effects. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its ATK and DEF become 4000.

 

This card is seriously under-valued in both formats.

 

OCG has Metals that can kick out Exterio-Kirin-Crystal fields

DDD which can make Crystal-Harbinger-Seig fields

Blue-Eyes can do Harbinger and Spirit stuff

and PKBA can just make cards like Beatrice and Break that you don't wanna kill

 

 

TCG has Kozmos

 

It's honestly the one of the nicest board breaks cards to see, and is worth the "dead" draw IMO (cause honestly how are you gonna crack some of the more firm locks these decks can make?)

The fact it's a Normal Summon is extremely important to slip under Vanity's and stuff too.

 

I prefer Ferret Flames myself, but obviously that still gives them the chance to chain to it.

Oh how I wish we had something that could search monsters with "? ATK". Ra.dek being more consistent would honestly be a fun thing to have.

Well Mound of the Bound Creator and that one True Name can search this

This with Slumber would be too perfect even to describe.

 

My only issue is that it's a Tribute Summon, so it can't break Domain. Even so, it definitely has its purpose.

I predict this may pop up more often, it's just that no one has given enough of a sheet to read the actual card.

Well Mound of the Bound Creator and that one True Name can search this

Mound has to be destroyed via effect and is "When... You can"/has the potential to miss.

True Name is gimmicky as funk and requires other gimmicky/inconsistent/etc cards to make it "work".

 

And speaking of inconsistent cards...

A card that searches for "? ATK" monsters would let you search Fortune Lady- oh, right, nobody plays those anyway.

I don't think those boards come up often enough, or at least 3+ mons, for you to warrant running this. Kaiju incoming tho.

I don't think those boards come up often enough, or at least 3+ mons, for you to warrant running this. Kaiju incoming tho.

Getting all three takes a correct set of 3-4 cards or multiple turns to assemble usually. But by decks running 3's of needed cards, multiple searchers, and Pot of Stupidity it's not that unlikely to see actually

 

2 of the three is common enough. So I'd think Lava Golem would be >Kaiju even in that regard

 

As someone above noted, for Metalphosis, you might end up starting at Patchy, Jowgen, or Vanity. Kaiju and Golemn won't help in that regard :/

I'll take your word on that then. Haven't played much TCG recently. I was just thinking about them anecdotal Dark Planet focused decks that made yucky locks

uh, standard Fire King Kozmo boards end on Dark Lady, Tincan and a third pilot or CDI. They summon plenty of monsters for this to be live. Demise Kozmo is the exception, but if they are what you are vsing then don't side it in,

Those are 3 card combos, you are more likely to see Strawman floating a ship with a darklady next to it.

Everyone, meet the not-so-secret hidden enabler of my Ra-Roma Deck! Not only is this fun for outing things, but I often take advantage of one interesting fact:

 

This and Immortal Phoenix can be on the field simultaneously quite easily.

 

This is a good chunk of the reason my Ra-Roma has as much strength as it does: removal, and access to exactly 1 Rank 10 per Duel. Specifically, Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula.

 

So, I love this thing.
