Tinkerer
Crystron X (because I don't exactly get the tuners' naming scheme)WATER ***Machine/EffectYou can only use the effect of “Crystron X” once per turn.(1) During your opponent’s Main or Battle Phase: You can Special Summon 1 non-Tuner monster from your Extra Deck, but its effects are negated, and if you Summoned that monster, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using that monster and this card only.500/

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Crystrons are named after mineral/quartz and the Four Symbols in Chinese constellations (Seiryuu, Byakkou, Suzaku, Genbu). This card would enable some interesting plays, yes, but since it summons from the ED and the usual constraints on what you can summon applies, you're not left with a ton of options (unless you run gimmick cards). You can probably tech the Speedroid Synchros or something, but that really leaves you with about 5 options that can be summoned (that are actually useful). Maybe some other Decks can make better use of this; idk, I guess Superheavies can tech this to summon their new 8 or something. This would do better at just Special Summoning from the Deck to be honest; it'd help the Deck be a better engine to enable plays. Looking at the list of monsters, there aren't too many Machine-Types that are either generic (least 2-mat wise) or worth running.

This is all true, but you're saying that like the others aren't limited in a similar way. This one is actually the LEAST constrained in terms of effect since it initially Special Summons ANY non-tuner from your Extra Deck including stuff like Herald of the Arc Light and Shaddolls. It's the one that can go into the most options out of the tuners and it enables the Extra Deck. In exchange, it burns through Extra Deck resources and may not push the overall deck forward, which is kinda the balance I wanted to strike. Not Shaddolls. They must first be Fusion Summoned. The only interesting-ish combination I can think of is Crystron X + Shutendoji = Kyubi. Special Summoning from the Main Deck is obviously not a good idea because all the Crystron Tuner monsters are supposed to be able to Special Summon any non-Tuner monster from their specialised location.
