Huh. Did you build this around Reinforce Truth? (btw did i get the name right)

 

That said I think it's pretty neat. I would try to make it useful in a deck if I could. (would probably end up with an exodia variant but w/e)

^Right, Reinforce Truth's the name, and this is a great target for it that competes with Hero Kid but performs a different function and whether it's better or not depends on the situation. The beatsticking effect is a nice insurance so it's not totally dead when drawn. I like the effect, well thought and balanced.

 

The picture's beautiful, but doesn't visibly convey eccentricity to me as Eccentric Boy and Archfiend Eccentrick do.

 

As far as phrasing goes, "the respective owner's deck" is currently the more succinct "the deck" as per Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer among others.

Yeah; that's what I was going for; a Reinforce Truth option, but one that leaves an impact.

I do like the name "Eccentric Soldier", especially in a YGO where all the female cards' names are gendered up the gills (looking at you, Kozmo Farmgirl, D.D. Warrior Lady, Dark Magician Girl, etc.), but I digress. I like that "Soldier" part. For all I know she could be eccentric, but she looks more rank-and-file and sober just IMO. Eccentricity is a fine and wonderful thing! I'll throw out "Serene Soldier", or alternatively "Kawaii Desu-Desu Handmaiden Girl".

I just changed it, even before you posted this.

 

And no. More than half the images I use for my cards aren't even from a franchise.

Actually, maaaaybe the effect not targeting is a bit on the "too strong" side (e.g. see Moralltach); you may want to make it target to be safe.

 

 

P.D. This is a nitpick, but I wish you would at least crop the pictures you use so they fit better in the card instead of getting distorted by the card maker.

It matters not to me; it is pitiful and pointless otherwise. I'll keep it as it is.

And you thought I didn't know? I can't so much as do that right now. By August, I should be able to (though, for later cards; not this one).
