Atypical-Abbie
Free Xyz Material forever? That sounds a bit too good, especially with that extra effect. Had it been a Level 4, it would be even better, but still. Other cards do what they have to.
The Highlander
Neo turned out better than expected, especially considering any cipher suffices, Etranger is far better than expect and actually justifies using foolish burial ... and further strenghtens twin raptor, let alone it is free xyz material, which adds a float effect to cipher xyzs ... ciphers might actually turn out to be more interesting than raptors if they get more support as they do (and get a cipher rank 4). The last card turned out as expected ... nothing wrong about that. Edit: These cards are amazing support, though now I want Cipher Interfere even more. cardgameking
Etanger may actually be the best Cipher main deck monster, wtf. Supplying GECD with replenishing Xyz material is awesome, and actually recycles the Cipher spells. The archetype may be cool now.Cipher Ascensions is neat, considering how Galaxy ain't half bad at getting level 4<s out and may be teched in some sort of Dragon deck focused on abusing it. Of course, it also means Neo GECD can have stupid high stats as well as creating more beaters.
The Highlander
Etanger may actually be the best Cipher main deck monster, wtf. Hardly difficult for it to be the best maindeck cipher monster, considering knight, twin and wing are not that amazing (until we get a rank 4 cipher). BlackBeartic
So lemme get this straight. Ciphers get a on hand recyclable RUM/Spell searcher right off the bat. But RR can't get even a hint of a rum search? I wouldn't nearly be as salty if it wasn't for the fact that Neo Cipher is barely fazed. In some ways I think it got buffed. Way to go konami lmfao. Not counting Tribute Lanius who searches a quick-play RUM when it dies in battle?Funnily enough I was about to say the same, the term should have been "card with a decent effect to search a RUM" Neo Cipher is barely fazed. In some ways I think it got buffed. It is easier to use and not as much of a heavy blade, however if you xyz evolve it you do not keep the stolen monsters forever ... definitely nerfed all in all, though in a justified way. My b on the salt, me and YGO haven't been getting along and me waking up to this just threw a wrench in my side lol. Outside of salt tho I actually do like this. Ciphers are finally playable (maybe?) to some degree.
The Highlander
Outside of salt tho I actually do like this. Ciphers are finally playable (maybe?) to some degree. If they get more support they are playable. Funnily enough they are about the second xyz archtype I actually consider to be properly designed (except perhaps the anime clowns), RR being the first one. However right now they have far too few maindeck monsters and summoning cipher dragon requires 3 monsters (wing + 2 level 4).

Pchi
Not counting Tribute Lanius who searches a quick-play RUM when it dies in battle?Actually, Tribute Lanius searches after destroying another monster in battle, not the other way around. Toffee.
>Entranger can search the Rank-up card>Entranger can freely attach itself from Graveyard to Cipher Xyzs>Entranger basically enables it's own search effect for free despite the hard OPT clause funking hell, it's really cool. Kaiji
This probably won't do very much outside of: 1) Searching S/T during your opponent's turn 2) Replenishing naked Ciphers like ones revived off Cipher Blade. Still pretty neat that they gave the deck a means to get rid of it in hand so there is a larger focus on a generic rank 8 engine rather than tryna build meme Cipher pure. The Highlander
Discard Etranger for Galaxy Solider? Or discard etranger for twin lizard to summon knight ... though at the moment that is incredibly unreliable, considering you also need wing ... if only ciphers would get an e-call, rank 4 (similar to that galaxy eyes summoning rank 4 ( galaxion ?)) and Cipher Interfere. 玄魔の王
Stranger has been updated on the wiki: it searches Cipher Spell/Trap cards, which includes Cipher Bit and Double Cipher. That makes them marginally better question mark. Discard Etranger for Galaxy Solider? Or discard etranger for twin lizard to summon knight ... There's also the fact it works with Twin Twisters etc.
Kaiji
Totally missed the fact that you can dump Stranger off Brilliant Fusion.
