Magical Trinket

I like this card. Just for Normal Summoning it and having a Level 1~2 vanilla in the Deck, it rewards you with a Mist Bird Clausolas, a Synchro4 (most notably Arc Light and Hastorr) or Rank2. The on-Special Summon effect may not look impressive, but it's still a cute thing to have for broadening your Synchro Summoning options. And that last effect is nice for making the card live in case targets for its first effect were banished or otherwise aren't available, or you could run it just for the ATK boost, really; +500 ATK may look tame, but it can really make a difference in a battle. What I'm not sure about is if it's meant to be a Quick Effect (like Honest, Kalut, Nekroz of Decisive Armor), and because of the way it's written, it is not, but the card is still good enough IMO considering its first effect.

Oh, also I'm not sure if this card would deserve a spot on the banlist, be it Semi-Limited or Limited, considering that monsters such as Rescue Rabbit and TGU, who have a similar function (1-card Extra Deck monsters that pick the material straight from the deck) are Limited as well, also this can pick from either the hand, deck or grave so in most cases running a single target in the deck should suffice to make the 3 copies live, plus it has the ATK boost effect as an extra bonus. On the other hand, for example Rabbit doesn't seem to be too overwhelming anymore since AFAIK it isn't doing anything outstanding in the OCG where is it Unlimited, while TGU is a different case for its ability of searching Effect monsters...

I suppose this is a card one would have to test to determine its impact more accurately. As it stands, I see it being played in rogue or casual decks like Ojamas, but also in Advanced Ritual Art variants (by running a Level2 vanilla, this can make Arc Light, which will eventually search for a Ritual piece), potentially taking it to a competitive level.

Thank you.

Cute was more or less what I was going for, while still keeping it fairly practical, and tying it to an already existing Trinket monster.

I compared it to Rabbit mainly because both it and this involve Normal monsters in the deck, which come with the risk, or "drawback", of ending up as dead draws.

Also keep in mind that Rank2s are bound to get good monsters as time progresses (see Centaurea, Crumble Logos, now Treatoad), so the Rank2 being weaker to the Rank4 pool is subject to change.

I actually wasn't aware of Deskbot 003 --> Deskbot 001 play, but I suppose this card still has an edge in flexibility by being able to Summon either a Rank2 or a Synchro4.
