Fragmented Mirror Force

[Normal Trap]

When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Destroy 1 card on the field. When your opponent's monster declares an attack: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; destroy 1 card on the field.

So essentially a more limited Mirror Force? Instead of negating, it destroys. But unlike Mirror Force, it destroys only one card (and non-targeting to boot). Might this be to not trigger floaters while at the same time expanding and going for any card to destroy? Plus, it comes with an additional use in the Graveyard. So that's up to two cards you could destroy. It's actually rather neat, giving up the negation of attack and mass destruction for non-targeting destruction of any card.

It's not exactly a field wipe like its cousins are, but at least you can still snipe out other cards that need to be blown up, including backrow and Scales. For what it's worth, also bypasses the targeting immunity that a lot of bosses tend to have lately. Card probably works best if you can survive multiple attacks, but to compare it to a card that has a similar function, basically a more versatile Sakuretsu Armor (you can still blow up the attacking monster, but then you have the opportunity to hit anything as opposed to that particular one). So yeah, card's pretty neat.

If flavor is a factor here, not sure what Attribute would best represent this card, but that aside, it's nice for what it does.

I imagine it's neutral like the original Mirror Force. It's worth noting that this card's name doesn't use "-ing" like the elemental Mirror Forces do (not counting LIGHT and DARK as elements).
