JessicaMuddy
Yes? No? Maybe? I don't know. Can you repeat the question? Tribute 1 Fusion monster that lists "Dark Magician" as a material. or 1 "Dark Magician Knight": Special Summon 1 "Mirage Knight" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard, ignoring Summoning Conditions. It probably needs an extra effect in the Graveyard, but whatever.
Dokutah
i don't play BlaMagi deck to much but yet i also love Mirage knight. so its nice to having Mirage Knight supported, but at the same time based from i know from the deck. would it be kinda waste of play if you sacrifice BlaMagi fusions for a (only) super-beater that banish it self at the end phase? not to mention its prone to the likes utopia, avatar and numerous kind of battle trap? Flash Flyer - Sakura
To be fair, only Fusion that Dark Magicians would even care about is Amulet Dragon, but even that one is better than what Mirage Knight brings to the table (its ATK is lower, but stays around longer and floats when it leaves; Mirage cannot boast the latter). So in a way, this card won't really do much for its cause. I suppose you could have this card negate Mirage's forced banished effect, so it can actually stay up longer (though given its ATK gain is permanent, looking it over, negating that effect might not be a good idea). Granted, it's still prone to S39 and other forms of removal, but isn't nearly everything prone to being run over by those for the most part? For a Graveyard effect, I suppose you could let it banish itself, then Special Summon a "Dark Magician" monster or something. You can decide what to do with it. Darj
This card doesn't look good, to be honest. Dark Magician Fusions aren't too feasible to Summon last time I checked, and you go -1 to Summon a monster with an inherent risk of becoming a dead draw. Even if there was a Level5 or lower Dark Magician Fusion to take a shortcut with Instant Fusion, I don't think this card would be worth it.I can think of a couple of ways for improving this card, but another approach you could take for making a tribute to Mirage Knight is a "Dark Flare Magician" retrain that instead Summons a Mirage Knight Token with the same stats and effect as the original, and has a more flexible floating condition. If you are not up to that, then what I would do with this card is something among these lines:Regular effect:[insert effect here that is easily live and supports DARK Spellcasters, Dark Magician or Dark Magician Spell/Traps]Graveyard effect:If a Fusion Monster that lists "Dark Magician" as Fusion Material, or a "Dark Magician Knight", you control is sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Mirage Knight" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard, ignoring its Summoning Conditions. With that, it is then a lot like a "Deal with Dark Ruler" for Mirage Knight.
