Atypical-Abbie Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Reckless Magic CircleField Spell CardYou can only activate 1 “Reckless Magic Circle” per turn.(1) When this card is activated: You can add 1 “Aleister the Eidolon Summoner” from your Deck to your hand.(2) If you activate a card/effect that includes an effect that Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster, that activation cannot be negated, also your opponent cannot activate cards/effects when that monster is Fusion Summoned. So a searcher, that's good, but I am more interested in the second effect myself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Highlander Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Hello awaited "E-Call" for Eidolons, oh so you also have an inbuild pseudo Super-Polymerization clause for all Fusion Spells.This card is solid and considering Terraforming the deck now has 9 solid chances to draw into Aleister. ~~~~ Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 I wish the (2) effect simply prevented all activations in response. That would mean that your opponent would have to pre-emptively activate Vanity's Emptiness and the like, giving you more time to remove them before Fusing. Considering that Spell negation would simply negate the Field Spell, and Solemn Warning would negate Aleister's Normal Summon, the (2) effect seems most valuable for stopping Bottemless and the like. However, this is really nice in that it allows you to run up to 9 copies of Aleister, and potentially tech in a 3-card engine (this+Aleister+Summoning Magic) in decks that already run 3 Terraforming and don't tend to use their Normal Summon. Like PSY-Frames. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 And Kaiji was just telling me how every field spell would become a rota eventually lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kanashimi Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Turning any poly-esque card into SS4, and making them Solemn-proof. Well boi got MST'd/TwiTwi'd easily. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Slinky Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 yasssss, Eidolons now have a 75% chance of opening Aleister. 85% if you include Planet Pathfinder Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 85% if you include Planet PathfinderYou don't. It eats your precious Normal Summon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Doesn't the second effect also make the card drawing effect of "Metalofes Fusion" undeniable? That's funny.And yeah, a searcher for Aleister is welcomed, and one that is searchable by Terraforming at that. Then Aleister searches the Summoning Magic; that's quite the search power there. ~~~~ Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Doesn't the second effect also make the card drawing effect of "Metalofes Fusion" undeniable? That's funny.No, because you're not activating a card, and the effect that you are activating doesn't perform a Fusion Summon. At least, that's by the current wording. Darj Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Oh you are right, the restrictions should make this card's (2) effect not apply on "Metalfoes Fusion" draw effect. I was thinking it would be similar to how Solemn Warning can negate Starlight Road and Macro Cosmos, but it's not the same case. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kaiji Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 This should prevent Snow from booking your monster when chained in response to the Fusion Spell as well as prevent Shiranuis banished by the Fusion Spell from activating. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Slinky Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 This should prevent Snow from booking your monster when chained in response to the Fusion Spell as well as prevent Shiranuis banished by the Fusion Spell from activating. It will. It works like Delteros, and would remove your opponent's chance to activate in the summon response window. Now, whether or not they can use something should /you/ use something in that window, I'm still not sure of. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
See Stick/Deneb/etc. The chain after that monster is fusion summoned is locked out to the opponent. I hope the EARTH Eidolon is good, because Fluffals ayyy shhh ignore the need to NS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I hope the EARTH Eidolon is good, because Fluffals ayyy shhh ignore the need to NSSo that would mean that you could use the effect of Raideen in response to its own summon, and the opponent wouldn't be able to respond? Sweet! Also, would something that is unaffected by Spell effects be able to respond? I also just want to comment on how the current translation calls this card reckless, when it in fact makes your summons safer. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
