LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 tbh it's mostly nostalgia and, ironically?, its music that makes me vote Rainbow Road here. It's an iconic track so it'd be fitting for it to win in the end. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
♪ ♪Aria ♪ ♪ Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 Well, N64 Rainbow Road has a simple and straightforward track, with various festivities like flashy lights and rainbow to add to it's fantasy theme, I also like the 3dS Version than the original, since it has a floating express of sorts, which is cute and magical. But, I Shall vote for Music Park, since music is part of my everyday life, and I like the interesting concept of blending musical instruments with a circuit, especially the piano which makes sounds while drifting and the bouncy drums to keep the beat and tempo. Plus it has a cool and techno music which suits my taste. So, sorry rainbow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~British Soul~ Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 On one hand we have Melody Motorway, which is a fun, chill track with an interesting concept. On the other we have a track which was changed for the better in the MK8 engine. Guess I'm going with the nostalgia factor, Rainbow Road here. Darj Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 Voting for rainbow Road, not so much because of the nostalgia, as N64 Rainbow Road wasn't that great for me given its length and lack of obstacles, but because of the drastic and amazing overhaul it got in the latest version. It pretty much got what I would have asked for: no fence, more obstacles, less time (disregarding the "shortcut" jump at the beginning of the track); I even was impressed on their decision of implementing this track as a 3-section track (like the snow mountain, Big Blue, etc.), as opposed to, let's say, shrinking it. The Nyx Avatar Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 Music Park. Rainbow Road looks pretty, but with the lack of interactions, it comes off as rather bland. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 Voting for Rainbow Road because I've only played MK Wii and Rainbow Road is in that but the music one isn't. But we all know that the true winner is Moonview Highway. God damn I love dodging the cars Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shradow Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 Voting for N64 Rainbow Road because it's just too damn pretty, I keep saying that but it really is. They remade it so well in 8, the warm colors and all the lights are so nice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sethera Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 I really liked Music Park but gonna vote for Rainbow Road here. Partly for nostalgia, because even back in the '64 days that was my favorite track. But also partly because of the overhaul they've done with it.
