Azuriena Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 Ariel, Priestess of the NekrozEffect Monster (Psychic-Type/WATER/Level 4/ATK 1000/DEF 1800)Once per turn: You can reveal any number of "Nekroz" cards in your hand; until the end of this turn, increase or reduce this card's Level by the number of cards you revealed. If this card is Tributed by a card effect: You can add 1 "Nekroz" monster from your Deck to your hand, except a Ritual Monster. You can only use this effect of "Ariel, Priestess of the Nekroz" once per turn. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 The second effect is decent in OCG cause Shuritt lives Can somone help me understand how this helps otherwise? 7 and up cannot be summoned by things their own level I suppose you can make Hieratic Nekroz for w/e reason now Outside of XYZ's I don't see a serious purpose for this card Also who is she?? Azuriena Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 Can somone help me understand how this helps otherwise? 7 and up cannot be summoned by things their own levelYou could Ritual Summon Trishula using it along with Gungnir or Valkyrus, for instance. A Level 5 monster that can be Normal Summoned without Tributing isn't too bad either, and it could also serve as another Level 6 monster alongside the Limited Brionac. Also who is she?? Gishki Ariel, if that means anything. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 The XYZ part is legit if you can make Beatrice to mill Djinn. Ngl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Blake Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 She was sacrificed for... which was it... I think Mind Augus? This is a revived monster, much the same as Winda, though Winda had been revived as a doll. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 Aleister stats! Should have been Level 3 for e-tele Second effect kinda sucks Probably only going to be played for Bahamut, if that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kingdom Xathers Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 At least this should make Nekroz of Sophia easier to Summon. Sure, it'd mean possibly using some of the other Main Deck/Zefra Nekroz, but still. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted December 21, 2016 Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 So, lore-wise they brought Ariel back; I find that really intriguing. How? why just now? Will she get Nekroz Ritual forms too? As for the effect, yeah picking Shurit is nice, and Level4 opens Toadally Bahamut plays, although they already had a Level4 in Sorcerer, but I guess more Level4s helps with making the play more often. And the field effect seems really underwhelming and out of theme that it's actually making me suspect more Nekroz cards may be incoming that deal with Levels. Well, there's already Dance Princess. (As well as Unicore and Norden.) Although it's nice that Ariel can be used without prior setup. And isn't awkward in so many ways like Exa. It searches shruitt That's really itok.. but that doesn't change how it is viewed in the TCG so I don't get your point. Would you say that Qlife's End's 3 tribute effect is good if you were speaking from the context of the TCG? no Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
And that's OCG's shruit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yes, I already had Unicore and IF-Norden techs in mind, and Dance Princess AFAIK isn't as played as Sorcerer so that's why I overlooked it.
