Guest BGMCANN0N
Swords of Dazzling Light[Normal Spell] When this card resolves: Negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls until the end of this turn. Face-up cards you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's monster effects. Destroy this card during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation. Flash Flyer - Sakura
As the card is now (by wording), it'll go to the Graveyard and the effect won't linger (at least past the temporary field negation). Using Revealing Light's clause, but I may be wrong and newer cards may just imply this fact (would like to check on YGOPro, but not on a computer that can search for similar instances in PSCT). Either that, or change it to a Continuous Spell. But yeah, I suppose this card is nice in keeping your monsters (and suppose Scales ) safe from common removal, considering how often things get targeted. That, and the field negation works (bypass immunities, lock off Scales and so forth; I want to call it a quicker/widespread variant of Breakthrough Skill, but that may not be an appropriate analogy. Overall, should be fine (one thing that may draw some concern from other members is likely the full-field temporary negation).
Darj
This falls on the unfair side, IMO. Not only it negates all of your opponent's face-up cards, which is kind of non-flavorful since Swords of X Light cards only affect monsters, but also it keeps all of your face-up cards safe from targeting? A bit too much for a single card. I think its effects should only apply on your opponent's monster effects: only the effects of opponent's monster are negated when it resolves, and your monsters cannot be targeted by effects your opponent's monsters.I'm not sure if this should be a Continuous Spell or not, since you have the "When this card resolves" condition borrowed from Concealing Light, but that card is a Continuous Spell, while Revealing Light doesn't have it and it's a Normal Spell. Either way should be fine, though
Sleepy
Yeah I agree with the above, it'd be a bit more fair if it A ) Negated the effect of all face-up monsters on both sides at the time of its activation (until the End Phase/until your opponent's End Phase even)B ) Make all your cards (including itself if you want to) not able to be targeted by your opponent's monster effects (rather than any card's effects) for the reminder of its time there. Especially because even if it didn't have this second effect, it'd already be plenty solid with the general negation effect. In fact, it would become a very interesting asset to bring down bosses or even inspire some use as a replacement for the lack of Skill Drain in those old beater decks that used King Barbaros and such. The idea is pretty good. I actually had a spell speed 1 "negate all face-up monster effects this turn" Spell written down in my notebook for a project I've been working on, and now this card pretty much ninja'd me to the concept xD

You did suggested the idea to negate all face-ups as oppose to my idea of just negating opponents face-ups, and I am just merely considering it. So it I haven't officially ninja'd you to the concept since you are the one that. :P Go make the idea! Anywho, thank you all for the input! :)
