Guest BGMCANN0N
Well now Bahamut/ Laggia/ Dolkka got a beefier Rescue Rabbit/ Unexpected Dai target.... Not to mention it is also a Box of Friends and a Masked Chameleon target.. Seems like one of the most versatile norms we've had in awhile.

GarlandChaos
Ohey it's that card I was excited fo- >level 4 vanilla with 2000 ATK Are these the only kinds of vanillas you can make nowadays, Konami?! Ugh. I mean, in recent years we DID get the Dragoons, Igknights, Metalfoes, PSY-Frame Driver, and Angel Trumpeter, but every other Main Deck vanilla we got lately was a bog-standard 'lel 2000 ATK no tribute u mad bro?' and it makes me cry a little inside. Granted you can use this with Rescue Rabbit and/or Bahamut Shark to make an Evolzar or Treatoad, but that just gives me more reason to dislike it because it allows you to make a floodgate on wheels of your choice. tl;dr 0/10 too much utility
Ryusei the Morning Star
This why Bahamut should have been hit and not Treatoad.1 Treatoad isn't hard to deal with. Multiples are. There are non-bahamaut decks that sheet out multiples

There are non-bahamaut decks that sheet out multiples But other than Paleozoic Frogs, what other decks can you think of that can abuse Treatoad in multiples? Mermails? Though to be fair, the TCG situation is pretty different than what the OCG had. Simply put: We had Norden and y'all didn't.

Might even free up old Super Poly if you do PaleoFrogs were the main one, but there were examples such as Metals teching a basic frog engine. Mermails too. How many problems has bahamut caused before toad's creation or after it's limit? By my recollection none.

There is Normal Level 2 Aqua Turbo version with cards like Tri Wight. :> It can make 2 Treatoads pretty consistently.
Kaiji
lol @ thinking banlists are supposed to fix anything and arent just alternative rulesets #woke third eye open This doesn't really change much since bahamut was already accessible through Kabazauls. This is indeed a comparatively better card than Kabazauls, but at the same time if you were playing 2 sets of normals it would make more sense to play this over Sabersaurus and keep Kabazauls. Now that I think about it now, choosing Shark to be the one to hit would probably not solve some other problems though, if Paleofrogs were to actually make a comeback, but right now Zoodiacs are a much more popular engine than Frogs, and it doesn't easily pave way to easy Bahamut either. CraneMonk
Now we just need a FIRE level 4 vanilla with 2k ATK, and the set will be complete.
The Nyx Avatar
I've seen someone make a Deck that utilized WATER Normal monsters for Bahamut Shark and Treatoad, due to cards that Normal monsters benefit from; Rescue Rabbit could bring this out, as could An Unexpected Dai. But now I have the option of replacing one of them with a 2000 ATK body. Will try this out in the Deck once it's available
Darj
Yeah, this is just a better Kabazauls, and serves as extra copies of it, or rather the other way around since this will be the go-to Level4 WATER Dino.Neo-Dino Rabbit can now play more WATER Dinos plus Unexpected Dais :v And I hadn't realized there were already 2000-ATK Level4 vanillas for 4 Attributes; I mean, I knew about them, but never hit me that they consistently had different Attributes, plus they kind of follow a a pattern of having either 0 or 100 DEF. The remaining FIRE one better gets 100 DEF to make the sets equal.

Mysty
The remaining FIRE one better gets 100 DEF to make the sets equal.I think the FIRE one should have 200 DEF :: On Topic: It seems great with Rescue Rabbit for summoning Evolzars, Bahamut Shark, Abyss Dweller, Number 37, Snowdust Giant, or whatever generic two material R4 Xyz makes you happy. The WIND one is Phantom Gryphon, EARTH one's Gene-Warped Warwolf, and now this WATER one.I think the FIRE one should have 200 DEF :: On Topic: It seems great with Rescue Rabbit for summoning Evolzars, Bahamut Shark, Abyss Dweller, Number 37, Snowdust Giant, or whatever generic two material R4 Xyz makes you happy. It'd be cool for Rekindling interactions, but I kind of doubt it'd be 200. BlackBeartic
Konami really doesn't learn from past mistakes do they. Nothing I need to really say on this card. More treatoad BS, waiting for norden/toad to eat a hit tbh.
Kaiji
Rofl @ "past mistakes" how is this being printed anything but intentional, nothing has changed outside of an increase in ATK points should you choose to play Treatoad in DInos as well as a slight % increase in being able to summon Bahrstos in hand should you play 6 Water Dinos (which i doubt is optimal).
