If there is face-down monster on the field, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand), and if you do, change 1 face-down monster to face-up Attack Postion. If that monster was a Flip monster, this card's Level becomes equal to that monster's Level.

I figured I haven't really done card art in a real long time... So I started to do a simple project to try and up my motivation a bit on my visually creative side. This card art isn't the final product though as I want to get closer to at least some of the card art styles Yugioh has. Because aesthetics is really important to me, input related to it will go extra rewarded with Reps, and maybe something else if the input is super helpful to me (I know this isn't in the Graphic Showcase section, and to you new guys you still have to follow the protocol of telling me about the cards function in the game) . Let it be noted I love constructive criticism if you guys haven't been able to already tell.

 

Anyhow the concept is kind of an anthropomorphic play on sunny side up (an egg dish where the egg is only fried on one side), and Yugioh's concept of flipping face-up.

2/13/2017: Made this into a Tuner for more versatility.

2/14/2017: In card art, added strokes to frying pan, added screw to frying pan, played with weighted opacity of the grease, and took out the large smoke effect surrounding the egg in favor of smoke pufflets (I will probably improve the smoke puffs somehow)

Well, the art makes sense considering its name, but moving on...

 

Considering stuff like Subterrors is still prevalent nowadays, I can see this being teched in to trigger their effects and helping in making Xyz once their use expires (or rather stuff that they wouldn't necessarily be able to make on a regular basis). That being said, I'm not really familiar with their current strategies other than being Flip Monsters, but it's probably worth a shot. 'dolls still exist but aren't as prevalent (least from what I'm seeing); idk, guess you could trigger them first, then Fusion Summon Grysta with this. 

 

Not to say that you can only use this with/against Flip Monsters (preferably with them), but given the game nowadays, this is about the only use I see that can make the most use of this card's effects.

This would be so damn good in Shaddolls IMO: flip Falco and Beast right away to trigger their Flip Effects, makes Ultimaya along Beast, FIRE is decent for Egrystal.

Prediction Princesses could make use of it too, although their Flip monsters are scarcely used, besides Coinorma AFAIK; it can make Ultimaya along Crystaldine, too.

 

And yeah, should work nicely in Subterrors, making Ultimayas here and there because of the high Levels of their Flip monsters, as well as high-Rank Xyzs like Hope Harbinger, Cannon Dora, Seven Sins, etc.

 

You can play it as a self-summoning Level1 Tuner by Setting a monster, too. And it can save you from spending your Normal Set if the opponent happens to control a Set monster, or if you Set them yourself with Book of Moon, Quaking Mirror Force, etc.

Would be funny if it was Level2 for Toadally Awesome xD

I just noticed another under-the-radar archetype this actually helps: Raccoons (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Raccoon) Since Baby Raccoon Tantan already assist well in the swarming department with his Flip effect. And Ponpoko could get another face-down Beast up whether it would be a Flip monster or not.

Not a bad suggestion... I just might do it. Though you could use this on your own Penguin Soldier for the same goal. :P With that in mind this also helps Penguins as well...

What's nice about it is that it doesn't specify your side of the field. So if your opponent is biding with a Set monster, you could use that to your advantage to bring this out (well, assuming uou have no Set monsters or can't Set any). FLIP Targets for ths card include Shaddoll, Prediction Princess, and Subterror. And nice to see no restrictions, so you have the choice of either an Xyz or Synchro Summon. So either set up Utopia-Utopia the Lightning or something like Red Dragon Archfiend Scar-Right.

But then you wouldn't be able to add this with Where Arf Thou.
