ABC Gun
(Artwork for this card done by cardfight vanguard http://cardfight.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Gallery:Righteous_Superhuman,_Blue_Prison) Time to pop some bubbles, PUNKS: : : "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" + 1 DARK "HERO" monsterMust be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by sending the above monsters you control to the Graveyard (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. At the start of the Damage Step, if a "HERO" Fusion Monster you control battles an opponent's Special Summoned monster: Destroy that opponent's monster, and banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, or if it is sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card/effect or for a Summon: Destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field, and banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Flash Flyer - Sakura
It's not like Shadow Mist or D-HEROs are prevalent nowadays... That being said, I am iffy about this card extending the "destroy/banish on contact" effect for all HERO Fusions (on your end), considering the game nowadays indeed revolves around Special Summoning (unless you're True Kings or something) and effectively makes it near impossible for the opponent to do much. Yes, Kaijus and other forms of removal exist to getting rid of this card, but some limit on its effect needs to be added (preferably an OPT). Last effect is fine. Yeah, stats aren't exactly high for a Level 8, but this effectively gives HEROs another toy that makes them even more annoying to deal with (and to be fair, they really do have enough). ABC Gun
Consider this, when Link Monsters come out and we get the new rule changes, most Decks won't even bother trying to Special Summon any more than 1 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or a Pendulum from the Extra Deck at a time so its effect will really only affect itself most of the time, on top of that the True Kings and True Dracos, even Monarchs (as crippled as they are) would stomp a mudhole into this card. I really just made it this way because I've yet to make an elemental hero, and based on the artwork it looked like bubbleman that became a destiny hero and thought "how cool would it be to have a bubbleman that actually does something". Darj
Well, you posted this with a LEGACY tag, which means that Links shouldn't be factored in its design, so... yeah. And, in fact, Bubbleman does a lot for HEROes; specifically, it gives them access to Bahamut Shark --> Toadally, which of course is a big boon. Now, this card is mostly fine, IMO. A notable perk is its ability of using Shadow Mist as contact Fusion material and trigger its effect right away. I anything, it bugs me that the Spell/Trap removal effect doesn't target, but it should be ok, I guess. Also, not a fan of the name: "Bubble Popper" sounds kinda silly for a card with such menacing artwork XD
(GigaDrillBreaker)
The real key to this being as good as it is, is Vyon. Vyon can send shadow mist and search for bubbleman, essentially making this playable off of a searchable normal summon. That said, it doesn't break anything. Yeah, it's good at battle, but that's just about it. Various other forms of removal still exist, and this mostly just serves to break fields. The float is cute, especially since it still works off of Kaiju, but banishing an S/T isn't going to break anything. As a matter of fact, it isn't optional, so if they have no S/T, it could force you to banish one of the cards you set to reach bubbleman's condition. Your field will likely only consist of this and maybe dark law, so the effect isn't getting much mileage, especially considering how weak this is in battle against normal summoned monsters. Basically, it is incredibly easy to summon, but once in board it doesn't give any sort of out of scale return. Seems fair enough.
