Flipping Frenzy [Written]

[Quick-play Spell Card]

If you control no monsters: Discard 1 monster from your hand; Excavate cards from the top of your Deck equal to the discarded monster's Level. Then, Special Summon up to 3 excavated Flip Monsters with different names in face-down Defense Position, and shuffle the other cards back into your Deck. You can only activate "Flipping Frenzy" once per turn.

TBH, I got the idea of making FLIP support, after reading Egmoedeus's Worm support in this section, so kudos to him xD
Supported archetypes:

Worm

Subterror

Shaddoll

Prediction Princess

Penguin

Plus little stand-alone cards like Needle Worm or Super Nimble Mega Hamster.

The key for this to be casual is supposed to be that:
A ) Excavation: FLIPs don't really do this so it is not gonna be 100% fool proof.

B ) "different names" because the more consistent your deck is for a certain key play, the less you might benefit from this.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions appreciated and encouraged~

Due to the unreliability of excavating multiple Flips with different names, IMO you can get away with making this a Quick-Play Spell, and discard as part of the effect for compatibility with Shaddolls. Although to be fair, the card can get scary already in Subterrrors, whose high Levels can let you excavate about 7~12 cards.

Remember Spirit of the Fall Wind can easily access your Level 12 Subterror, and you'll be able to most definitely get 3 giant walls with good effects on the field, and in a deck with enough support to make those FLIP effects might as well be Quick Plays.

The card is in theory up to a +1 that snowballs into monsters that can further plus. If you think it is fine to make it a Quick-play that doesn't have an official cost after weighting the options, I'll change it xD

Yeah, I do am concerned about Subterror's capabilities of excavating so many cards and getting 2~3 big Flip monsters on board. It's funny how it's tricky to improve the card because Subterrors and their high Level Flips are a thing. How about summoning monsters based on the Level of the discarded monster instead? It could be double the Level, for instance:

"Special Summon up to 3 Flip monsters in face-down DEF whose total Levels are equal or lower to double the Level of the discarded monster."

That would also make the discard of low-Level flips less rewarding, but the low excavation count is just as unreliable anyway.

The thing about that suggestion, is that it seems to nerf this card's use for pretty much every Flip theme EXCEPT Subterrors, ironically. Now they can discard a Level 6+ and set their Level 12 or lower findings from the Excavation....

Do Subterrors have a Behemoth member that they wanna main more copies of than the rest? A predominant one? an Ace? Or are they mostly evenly distributed for variety of Levels and effect choices like a toolbox?

IIRC they preferred multiples of the Level 12 Pyro, the Level 10 Rock and the Level 7 Reptile, but after the latest support of Fiendess and that reusable Trap I'm not entirely sure how the monster line-up changed. A while ago a Subterror deck was poster in the Deck section that runs like 1~2 copies of different Subterrors, and none of the Level 12 one.

I kinda second making it a quick-play if only because having no monsters on the field is itself a condition that actually really matters for this. It could very easily find itself dead in the hand. Giving it the option to become a pseudo-Scapegoat from an opponent's Raigeki/Dark Hole/push to OTK seems fine, especially since there isn't anything definite regarding its summoning (even if you discard the lv 12 Subterror).
