ABC Gun
Artwork for this card done by https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=1251492 please support them when you can You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) while you control any Normal Summoned/Set Level 4 Beast-Warrior monsters. You can only Special Summon "Qilintaurus Huoyan" once per turn this way. If this card is Normal Summoned, or Special Summoned from the hand: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 Beast-Warrior monster from your Deck, except "Qilintaurus Huoyan". You cannot Normal Summon/Set monsters or Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck the turn you activate this effect, except Beast-Warrior monsters. You can only use this effect of "Qilintaurus Huoyan" once per turn. Damn shame what happened to Zoodiacs (Konami smacked them down so hard), but their not going down without a fight. Although this card would do VERY well in a Fire King Deck (considering their new support Ganesha http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_King_Avatar_Ganesha)allowing quick plays from the Extra Deck, this is also true for Zoodiacs. It can Special Summon itself from your hand while you control any Level 4 Beast-Warriors that were Normal Summoned/Set. If its Normal Summoned or Special Summoned from the hand (yes even including with its own effect): Then this card almost becomes a Ratpier as it let's you Special Summon any Level 4 Beast-Warrior from your Deck except another copy of itself, this is almost what Ratpier did but more generic. Unlike my post on Mammoth Rejuvenated (https://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/366741-lets-retrain-mammoth-graveyard-mammoth-rejuvenated) this card can and WILL be useful in Zoodiacs but not just for Xyz Summoning, with this card you could potentially use Zoodiacs for a vast array of Synchro or Link Summon Decks while still retaining their overall capacity for beatdowns and control plays. Darj
I say nope to this.I mean, a more flexible Wolfbark that Summons from the deck instead of graveyard? Really? And has an inherent Summon condition? and on top of that it gives a bonus to an Extra Deck monster that uses it as material? Nope. You know that Zoodiacs were hit for a reason, right? It doesn't even negate the effect of the summoned monster, ensuing follow-up combos.I would suggest things to nerf but at the moment I actually don't know on where to start. Still, making the first effect much less flexible, and negating the effect of the Summoned monster should be a good start.
Eshai
Official Card Grammer (at least to my knowledge) While you control a Special Summoned Beast-Warrior monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only use this effect of “Qlintaurus Huoyan” once per turn. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned from your hand: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 Beast-Warrior monster from your Deck, except “Qlintuarus Huoyan”. A Monster that was Summoned from your Extra Deck using this card as a Material gains this effect.● This card gains 400 ATK for each Level 4 Beast-Warrior monster in your GY that can be Normal Summoned/Set. Not exact but seriously no one is going to Set this card. Couple recommendations: Make each effect OPT so you can't use 2 of them in the same turn since you can Normal Summon 1 and then Special Summon 1. Idk if Tuner is a great idea, but I would restrict it to "You cannot use this card in the Special Summon of a monster the turn you activate this effect, except Beast-Warrior monsters." ABC Gun
Redid this card, now has a OPT for its effect to Special Summon out of the Deck, also you cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon anything except Beast-Warriors that turn. Eshai
You have 2 OPT effects, which is kind of redundant. In this situation, you would have it say "You can only use each effect of this card's name once per turn." Also, the condition is worded kind of weird since you have the location "from your Extra Deck" while also having "Normal Summoned". I would suggest you say "You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, except Beast-Warrior monsters" since with the previous condition it promotes that you NS this card rather than Special Summon it, and players are probably going to NS a Beast Warrior from their hand first to Special Summon this card anyway. ABC Gun
Also, the condition is worded kind of weird since you have the location "from your Extra Deck" while also having "Normal Summoned". That's a reference to the Main Deck monsters for BOTH Zoodiacs and Fire Kings (I designed this card to work with both), and to make up for the loss of Broadbull and Drident and having only 1 Ratpier and give any monster that uses this card as a material for that summon an ATK boost. Black D'Sceptyr
does this card have a Level tho other than that tho, this feels a quick way to make Tiger Fist and Diamond Dire insanely powerful. and the Zoodiacs too, I guess I like it, I suppose-though I'm scared of that from-the-Deck effect a tad-perhaps limit it to an ATK cap, that way you can't get too beefy a threat on board. Heck, if it let you summon a non-Level 4 Beast Warrior, I probably wouldn't get too hasty with it.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Let's assume it's Level 4, but yeah, you might want to reload the card. But yeah, even with the nerfs, still partially hesitant on approving this card. I mean, it does help Zoos to Rank 4 better (though they're still out Broadbull and Drancia; Chakanine exists though, so...), however this card essentially puts them back to somewhere before the ban (and that's kinda why Ratpier got Limited). On that note, Fire Fists get another toy to make Kirin or Tiger King, so there's also that. Stat bonus may need nerfing, yes, but that'll require analyzing what Zoos, Fire Fists and any other Level 4 Beast-Warrior deck that I missed can do in terms of graveyard setup. Zoos would probably appreciate this a bit to speed up plays a bit, even with the loss of two of their key cards, and somewhat regain their speed. ABC Gun
I re-uploaded the card, then nerfed its effect by getting rid of the ATK boost when used as material, also changed its Summon condition to apply to Normal Summoned/Set monsters instead of Special Summoned monsters.
