  • Dokutah changed the title to [AC01] Zexal Weapons

Well and now Ouroboros Sage is a thing and Utopia decks can easily break 10000 with one Normal Summon (although I am unsure which Non-Light Number one would even use, except maybe Number 55: Gogogo Goliath, which would at the very least reach 11600 ATK).

ZW – Sylphid Wing on the other hand seems completely pointless.

Leo Utopia Ray is definitely amazing, considering it is the first Utopia evolution to actually pack direct interruption, no to mention it can immediately equip ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber and be summoned with Number 39: Utopia Double, leading into a 3500 ATK Utopia with double monster negation.

ZEXAL Catapult ... exists, it would have definitely been better if it could use its second effect immediately ... I guess it can summon a ZW -Pegasus Twin Saber from one's hand ... if one misses Xyz Change Tactics ... and Generation Force.

Edit: It is also worth mentioning that as of now there are no anime exclusive ZW and ZS monsters anymore.

These were the last two (formerly) anime-only? Given they were used in late Zexal, it makes sense. That fact didn't register with me tbf.

They were, which is also why ZW – Sylphid Wing is had to be so faithful to the original that noone in their right mind would consider using it.

From this point on all Utopia stuff should be original (like ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber) or a reference (like Leo Utopia Ray).

Also given the unique wording on Leo Utopia Ray's first effect I would assume that the equipping part should still work under Skill Drain.
