This RP is an idea I’ve been wanting to do for a while…instead of assuming the role of a duelist, you play as a monster!

 

In a world known as Idunia, a brutal war between the Forces of Darkness and the Warrior Resistance has ravaged the lands and brought chaos that shakes the entire cosmos. The Forces of Darkness are lead by 3 powerful beings: the Cosmo Queen, who rules all Spellcasters; Zera the Mant, who commands an immense legion of fiends; and Dark Ruler Ha Des, who manipulates the undead. Their fortress is located in the Abyss (Yami), where their dark powers are at their strongest. The Resistance, formed by a Warrior known only as the Black Luster Soldier centuries ago, is stationed in a quaint village in Sogen, a large meadow located south of the Great Forest, the center of the continent. The powers of Spellcasters are greatly reduced in Sogen, whereas the Warriors become stronger, thus the Resistance somewhat of an edge in hometown skirmishes.

 

Here is the character info format:

 

Username: your username

Character’s Name: your character’s name (if your character has a specific name, ex: Masaki the Legendary Swordsman, you may use that)

Monster: what monster your character is

Bio: a brief description of your character

 

Here is where all the monster types reside:

 

Sogen: Warriors, Beast-Warriors, Beasts

The Great Forest: Plants, Fairies, Insects, Beasts

The Abyss: Spellcasters, Fiends, Zombies, other dark or evil monsters (ex: Dark Blade)

The Wastelands: Zombies, Reptiles, Dinosaurs, Rock

Machine City (located within the Wastelands): Machines

The Mountains: Dragons, Thunder, Winged Beasts, Rock

The Volcano (located within the Mountains): Pyro, certain other fire-based monsters

The Ocean: Fish, Sea Serpent, Aqua

Empire of Ice (located on a remote island): certain Ice-based monsters

Sanctuary in the Sky: Fairies, certain other light-based monsters

Land of Pandemonium: Archfiends

Dark World (a world separate from Idunia): Dark World monsters

 

And here are the other rulers of Idunia:

 

Insect Queen: Ruler of all Insects and the Great Forest.

Thestalos: Ruler of the Volcano and all Pyro and fire monsters. Can summon Lava Golem and several Solar Flare Dragons.

Mobius: Ruler of the Empire of Ice and all Ice-based monsters. Can summon Frostosaurus.

Zaborg: Ruler of Thunder and all the Mountains. Can summon several Thunder Dragons.

Raizel: Ruler of all Winged Beasts and Wind attribute monsters. Shares territory in the mountains with Zaborg. Can summon Simorgh, along with several Harpie monsters.

Granmarg: Ruler of the Wastelands and all Rock monsters. Can summon Megarock Dragon and Exxod.

Archlord Zerato: Ruler of the Sanctuary in the Sky and all Fairies. Has a distant relationship with Zera the Mant.

Terrorking Archfiend: Ruler of Pandemonium.

Reign Beaux: Overlord of Dark World and commands all Dark World monsters.

Machine King: Ruler of Machine City. Can upgrade to Perfect Machine King.

Neo-Daedalus: Ruler of the Ocean.

 

You may choose whatever monster you’d like, as long as it fits into these small requirements:

 

•No Gods or semi-Gods…..that includes Exodia, Raviel, Uria, Hamon, FGD, Master of Dragon Knight, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, etc….

•Certain effects will not be applied for obvious reasons, ex: no instant destruction (unless you get permission from the guy you’re destroying), effects that damage Life Points would cause injury instead, etc.

•You may pick Trap Monsters, like Embodiment of Apophis etc.

•If you choose to be the leader of a certain race, be sensible about it.

•Disregard that last one; just be sensible no matter what you pick…..

•Made-up monsters are allowed, though it’s not recommended and you’d have to describe what the monster looks like and what it does.

Character's Name: Dex Masters

Monster: Buster Blader

Bio: After the disappearance of Black Luster Soldier, the Resistance has chosen many leaders through the years. Dex is the current leader, and has been for several years. Before he became leader, he led a group of Warriors through the Mountains, hearing that he could find the power to defeat the Forces of Darkness. What they found however was a huge black dragon with red eyes. They were helpless against the dragon, being barely able to hold on to the edge of the mountain as it flew around attacking them. Dex watched in horror as his comrades died one after the other, either being devoured or burned alive, screaming as they fell thousands of feet to their deaths. In a desperation attempt, he jumped at the dragon as it charged him, slaying it and falling to the ground below on top of it. He was unconscious for several hours, and after finally awaking, he returned to the village in Sogen to report his loss. After several other acts of courage and strength, he was announced leader of the Resistance, vowing to end the war before he dies.

Character’s Name: Ha Des

Monster: Dark Ruler Ha Des

Bio: One of the 3 Dark Lords, and an extremely dangerous and manipulative Fiend. He has the ability to reanimate the dead, can conjure deadly spells, and has a slick tongue that can convince a fish that it’s drowning. Out of the 3 Dark Lords, Ha Des is most certainly the most treacherous and deceitful, going behind the others’ backs to accomplish his own selfish deeds. He secretly has plans to overthrow the other two, hoping to become the sole ruler of all that is dark and evil. Despite his cruel nature, he has many loyal servants, including Gromarg the Gogiga Gagagigo, and Sindri the Chaos Sorcerer. He also has many fiends and spellcasters amongst his servants, which he takes much pleasure in beating and tormenting.

Character’s Name: Shira

Monster: Cosmo Queen

Bio: One of the 3 Dark Lords, she is considered the most powerful woman in the cosmos. Her magic is unrivaled by any force in Idunia. Some say she is powerful enough to compete with Archlord Zerato himself. Although she is one of the 3 Dark Lords, she is actually caring and compassionate toward her own kind. She despises Ha Des for abusing the spellcasters that she allowed him to control, and she hopes that one day all of her kind can be free from that kind of life. She also hates the war between the Abyss and the Resistance, and wants to put an end to the war as soon as possible. She does not hate the warriors for fighting against her forces; instead she’d rather make peace with them and join them in the light world. But, so long as the outside world rejects the taint of darkness that Shira and her spellcasters carry, they can never be accepted.

Character’s Name: Zera

Monster: Zera the Mant

Bio: One of the 3 Dark Lords, he is the commander of the Dark Force’s military power. He also has an intangible connection to all fiends in Idunia, though some of his forces were separated and began their own kingdoms in their own dimensions. He is the most ruthless of the Dark Lords, and would not hesitate to destroy an entire city if he was provoked, as he’s proven before. He has a strange connection to Archlord Zerato, as well as Mazera Deville, but denies any knowledge of the connection. He loves battle, and enjoys nothing more than wiping out entire armies of enemies. Though not the smartest fiend in the world, his strategies in battle have led to many victories for his forces in the past. He, along with Ha Des, is responsible for the destruction of The Creator.

Character's name: Eric Lightningbuzz

Monster: The Creator Incarnate

Bio: Several hundred thousand years ago, Eric was The Creator, the almighty being that created Idunia. Then, he released darkness and despair in the form of Dark Ruler Ha Des and Zera the Mant, which defeated him and brought him to nothing. They then became the Lords of Darkness, and Eric was reduced to the powerless being he is today.

Character’s Name: Gromarg

Monster: Gogiga Gagagigo

Bio: As an infant and child, he had lived in the Wasteland, learning how to fight from Granmarg himself. He loved fighting evil, although he wasn't exactly the best at it. He only fought small evils, and only could, until he was a teen. He decided to leave the wasteland and wander on his own. He met up with a Charmer, and togeter they grew stronger. He too parted with her, finding himself meeting lots of people. With every person he helped or shielded, he thought more and more about how nowone had helped him when he was in need. He needed to fight stronger evils, so he turned to two scientists, Magical Scientist and Kozaky. He became so powerful due to their experiments that neither of them could keep him contained. Kozaky ended up ejecting the young Gagagigo from his lab and destroying the lab itself. Gromarg soon found himself fighting huge evils as Giga Gagagigo. And more corrupted he grew. He soon stopped fighting evil and joined forces with them. That is how he is to today.

Bio: Came from a large Werewolf Pack that sided with Dark Ruler Ha Des. After witnessing how the Resistance fought so bravely for what they believed in, he had a change of heart and sided with the Resistance. He still has many problems with the Pack, as they send assassins to take him down.

Monster: Bird Watcher ( A man in a camouflage-brow suite with a camouflage-brow hat and a binocular)

Bio: A honourable warrior whose love for birds is immense. Fighting for good together with his fettered, search throw the sky for backup.

Monster: Dark Magician Girl

Bio: She lived in a small village in the Abyss, to which she had many friends there. One day the Dark Ruler Ha Des approached the village, destroying it and everyone in his path. He killed all of her friends right in front of her leaving only her alive, which he took as his servant. Her clothes are somewhat tattered from his constant abuse and her wand is scuffed up and dented from trying to escape every night without him realizing. She hasn't spoken since the night she lost her friends and gained a new yet abusive master.

Bio: King of the Dark World, strong with the power of darkness. Intelligent, powerful in tainting and corrupting others and blacken their souls into the darkness. Lately been in some mysterious activity.

Monster: Archlord Zerato

Bio: After the breakout of the war between the Forces of Darkness and the Resistance in a long-forgotten time in the past, the Fairies that used to roam the lands freely have withdrawn from across the world and now reside almost exclusively in their Sanctuary in the Sky, a huge citadel with mystical healing powers instated by generations of good, pure souls. It is said that those malicious of heart cannot enter the city while one good person defies them entry. When it comes to the great war, they are technically neutral, although they despise the Forces of Darkness, particularly Zera the Mant, a long-lost relation of their king, Archlord Zerato. Zerato himself knows he cannot become even a little involved in the conflict, or he would be forced headlong into it. The Fairies have, over time, sent aid to the Warriors in their hours of greatest need. They are also involved in low-key war with the Archfiends, who seek to gain the powers of the Sanctuary for themselves, so that they may link up with the Forces of Darkness.

Character’s Name: Gearfried

Monster: Gearfried the Iron Knight

Bio: He wanders the lands, protecting the innocent from evil. Defeating any foe that challenges him to a duel of blades. But, due to an awful curse, he is forced to wear a magical armor that prevents him from ever becoming too powerful. Once his power increases, his power overwhelms; he cannot control it. Anything near him is destroyed. Because of this, he wears the armor in shame. His armor is a constant reminder why he is too dangerous. Even though he is cursed from wearing this armor, he is very skilled at combat using his blade attached to his armor. He is a formidable foe, it is best not to go against him.

Character’s Name: Neo

Monster: Neo the magic swordsman

Bio: a warrior skilled in the art of magic he was born and raised in the sogen as a young boy. at age 10 he was taught swordsman ship by his father who was a major fighter in the resistance. at age 12 he decided to secretly join the resistance on a mission into the abbys' only to have the mission turn out to be trap. he stood there a watched as his father and 20 other men be slaghtered by the enemy's forces. as he stood there in disbelife then a strange old man beckons him quickly away from the chaos. the man only known as D.S.(yes dark sage) told him to forget what he saw and move on if he ever wanted to avenge his death. reluctant he stayed with the man for 7 years where he learned the art of magic craft. the old man tells him about a power great enough to stop the war once and for all but that power which he himself had seen was said to be lost when the spellcaster queen killed the only known sorcerror to have it (time wizard). but he also told him that before he was killed the sorcerror passed that knowledge on to a new generation in hope to keep it alive.

at age 19 he left the old man after they escape a raid from the enemy forcesess. 2 years have past and he is now currently looking for the power described by the old man, the power that would stop the war, the power of the time cronicals.

Bio: Not much is known about him, except that Ha Des sealed his spirit away for trying to free his servants. But the spell wore off, and Xain is on a quest to destroy Ha Des. But he will need some help....

Monster: Silent Swordsman Lvl 7

Bio: Zinros has been traveling for as long as he could lift a sword. One day he came apon a village, a place to rest and tell his storys. But with every person that he talked to they said that those are nothing compared to the tales of a great warrior known as Dex. Ever since that day his goal has been to find this Dex and challenge him to a fight to the death, to proof that he is the greatest warrior in exstance.

*Whoo!! Alright, I think we can start now! I think I'll go ahead then!*

 

It was a quiet night, the stars twinkling brightly in the midnight sky. Dex stared intently into the sky, his helmet and sword laying next to him on the ground. A gentle breeze blew through his brown hair, reminding him of a certain event from long ago. He sat up, yawning to himself and dusting off his armor. He then grabbed his helmet and great sword and stood up, stretching his back after a long day of peacekeeping in Sogen. "Well, I guess I should return to the village now..." he said to himself as he turned and walked steadily toward the village.

*Reciou looks out of the barred window of her chamber and up into the night sky silently. She grabs holds of her wand tightly and swings it against the bars as hard as she could a few times. After noticing she wasn't making much progress she gave up and sat on the floor against the wall silently thinking to herself.* "I have to escape from here somehow..."
