When this card you control is destroyed by a card

effect and sent to the graveyard, you can special

summon 1 level 4 or lower plant-type monster, except

"seed of flame", from your graveyard. Also, special

summon 1 "seed token" (plant-type/earth/level 1/

atk 0/def 0) to your opponent's side of the field in

defense position. This card cannot be tributed for

a tribute summon.

1. Just another way to clog your opponent's field. Nothing original, really, and the generic revival is pretty bad.

2. Effect only activates when destroyed by battle and it can't really search much, and the monsters it does search are added to your hand.

3. Nothing much to say other than it sucks.

4. Seed of Flame has interesting art, the Rai's have pretty bad art.

5. Waste of rarities.

Is being Optional really that big a deal when the effect is only activated by destruction by battle anyhow? It's not like it's likely to be destroyed as a result of battle in the middle of a chain.

I went to the Sneak Preview and got an Ultimate Rare "Seed of Flame" in my first pack. BTW, it goes for about $45, so it can't be that bad. The other two cards stink, but this card helps with Synchro monsters. "Copy Plant", a tuner that can make its level equal to that of another plant you control, is a Level 1 plant that "Seed of Flame" can Special Summon. "Copy Plant" makes it almost too easy to summon Synchro monsters with an even number of stars because, as an example, "Seed of Flame" destroyed = Special Summon "Copy Plant". Next turn, Summon a level 4 plant. Make "Copy Plant" = level 4. Send both to the Graveyard to summon 1 level 8 Synchro monster (Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, etc.).
