oof. so much depressing talk. well' date=' i dont know how much i can help but.......i think its about time that i really6 got serious about the whole thing. now looking up tasks to be done. nightmarian, fortycal, prepare to be pestered very soon with an application from me. to work![hr']

i think i was sent a piece of mail concerning this job here.

Card Converters: Since YVD only recognizes cards in its database when it’s written in a specific format we need people who can convert the submissions into YVD. All details are written bellow, on how YVD likes to see the cards in. It’s a simple task but requires some time depending on how many submissions there are.

i will now look it up to see how it is done. hopefully there'll be work to do there soon.

 

I do the YVD Conversions just so you know shadow.

yeah, but if he was really sorry, he would have deleted all of those random letters. imho he just added that after the randomness so that he wouldnt get into trouble, which failed btw. also, randomness also suggests that he didnt have anything to say in the first place and was just being random for the sake of being random, which although in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing, is not something that you do inside of threads and forums. let this be a lesson to the reest of us who might think to engage in such foolishness. (and yes i do include myself in that)

btw, i'm thinking we should start talking card shop again. im thinking of starting my own thread for card contests. reps will be gained according to where you are in the top 10. i will post the name of the thread when i am finished making it so that you guys know where to find it. also, i might enter myself, although i may consider against it since i have trouble with OCG. and there will be absolutely NO! voting for your own card. that way it ensures fairness for all. i will set it up today since cant get back on the library computers until monday due to this saturday being the 4th of july. so you guys have at least that long after i post the name of my contest thread to get your cards up there, though i may very likely extend it a few more days beyond that for the submission phase.

if you want help in setting up cards no your own page or whatever, find someone who can help out with that and have them help you through pm. we arent allowed to post cards here. there are seperate threads set up specifically for that purpose when the submission phase of a new set is being started and it is always stated here as to when the new set's submission phase is being started. dont worry, your not the first one to make that mistake. i made that mistake once myself and got shewed out royally for making it, so your no the firsdt one to be complained at for putting cards on here.

yeah. there's always a tourny held to break in the cards that have been put in the new set, as well as ongoing duels afterwards. however, the ongoing duels are more about fun and figuring oue whether any of the cards need to be semi-limited, limited, or banned, or if they can stay as unlimited. it also helps in deciding whether previous decisions on bans and limitaions should be revised. but that usually doesnt have anything to do with the starting of a submission phase for the next set of cards. btw, there'll be postings here for when the submission phase of cards for the next set begins and what thread it can be done in so that everyone who comes here is made aware of that fact. i myself hope to get some of my cards in the next set if i can finally get the ocg right. >.

I'm glad your posting the Submission Phase Karl. I will post the Voting Phase when the Submission Phase is over its only fair. I will also keep track of the cards that are being posted and I will transform all of the cards that make it in the SET to YVD Format. Just one thing before you post the Submission Phase make sure you put this in the thread or something along these lines.

 

You must post your cards in Written Format only. Any cards without stats and any cards in YCM Format will not be accepted.
