Flash Flyer - Sakura
OK, we essentially have a more restrictive, but yet "eternal" version of Skill Drain. This would certainly have merit against a lot of Decks because multiples are indeed run. Although keep in mind that certain cards treat themselves as another name, so this card will end up doing more damage than originally intended.(Most I can think of at this point are Harpies and to an extent, CyDras) However, I am going to assume that this applies to the field only; if it applies to the Graveyard and everywhere else, then we have a problem. Trebuchet MS
I'm willing to assume that its lingering effect will completely stifle the target, its copies, and anything that takes its name, in all possible Zones. But we'll have to wait for the topic starter to clarify.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Just as I originally suspected... Yeah, it's going to screw the crap out of a lot of Decks if ever printed. At the moment, Harpies get hit hard, since majority of their stuff does get treated as the original one for all intents and purposes. CyDras are more/less screwed to an extent as well, though they still have their Infinity plays and whatever (it'll be harder to do them however). Also means no Overload Fusion things into Rampage. -----------I did say that we'd have a problem if it is indeed universal negation, and here we go.Change the negation effect to only the field, and make the cost the full ATK. As it stands, it's a limited scope, but permanent Skill/Mind/Soul Drain rolled into one. Yeah, just no. ------------Also, there is no need to write everything in caps.Weren't you told this in another thread?
Sleepy
IDK I think it is not THAT bad.Being eternal is the selling point, but normally Prohibition would block single targets better while it lasts, and doesn't require the card to be a monster and be face-up at the moment of activation. Then the OP card only stops effects so Harpies would still be able to Xyz spam at some point, and CyDra is unlikely to really matter since they typically go for the OTK.I have 2 doubts though: The face-up Pendulum Monsters being used as Scales, and the monsters that have 0 ATK and therefore nothing to pay for this card? If I were to suggest something for the effect though, it'd be to require the target to still be face-up to resolve the effect, as to have more ways to disrupt its effect, like Book of Moon.
