AJ said nothing. He would die. He was going to have to to bring this thing back down, but if he didn't......Garnet, Athrun and Crystal all crossed his mind. What would become of them if he didn't? "They're lives are more important then mine. This is the way it has to be." The two figures said nothing. AJ turned and walked back to Athrun. He kissed his son of the forehead and ran a hand threw his hair one last time.

 

"They'll understand what had to be done." said Jade who was verge of tears. Although they hadn't always gotten along, that was still her son. AJ walked over and hugeed her. Nightshroud said or did nothing. He just stood there and glanced at AJ. He suddenly walked over to him.

 

"Nightshroud. Keep an eye on Athrun. Keep him safe. As a last favor for an old friend." he said smiling. Nightshroud for the first time, smiled back and shook AJ's hand.

 

"Yeah. You bet i will." he said finally. After their hands parted Nightshroud picked up Athrun and walked over to Jade. AJ watched the 3 and spoke one last time.

 

"Tell them all i'm sorry, and i'll always be watching them." Jade and Nightshroud nodded and with a final nod, they both disappeared. Leaving AJ alone of the streets of the city.

AJ walked down the streets of the city towards Cosmic Closer. Once he was defeated the city would fall into the sea. He would never see his family or old friends again. ...............that wasn't going to stop him. He had to do this and nothing was going to prevent him from doing so.

 

~meanwhile~

Nightshroud and Jade where heading back towards the island when they saw a figure riding an armored bird. "That's that girl Joanna." noted Jade ans she got closer. The Obelisk saw Jade and then the unconsious Athrun in Nightshroud's arms.

 

"Athrun!" Armor Master and Armed Wing flew in closer until the group met. "What happened to him?!"

 

"He's fine." Jade assured her. "He's just exhasted. Get him to the infermary as soon as you can. He needs to rest." Joanna nodded.

 

"But where is his father? Where's profesor Maxwell?" Nightshroud just smirked.

 

"Doing his final deed as a good father."

"Yeah ... it's like a dream came true, except it's become more of a nightmare." She fell silent to continue listening.

 

"Jeremy, you do realise we'll need bikes to get there?"

 

"Oh no ... no, I will never ride a bike ever again! What's wrong with a car?"

 

"The island's not entirely designed for cars, and anyway you need to get to grips with Duel Runners, we might have to feature them soon."

 

"No. Top Gear's a car program, we are NOT going to feature motorbikes anywhere!" Garnet listened to them argue.

--i got work soon so this is my last post

 

AJ soon appeared before the Ally of Justice synchro's. Field Marshall, Catasor, and Cosmic Closer where all before him. "One who has freed us from our prison..." said Closer in an impressive voice. "Soon our power shall be restored and we shall be able to put the light to rest." AJ just smirked.

 

"I've already put to rest what need be." he said. "And now that i have, i have no further use for any of you."

 

"WHAT?!" Feild Marshall and Catasor said in together.

 

"So the next thing to be put to rest.." said AJ. "Is this city, and all of you with it!"
