Crystal hugged her two children tighter, more tears spilling down her face than anyone else. So this was what it felt like, to loose your husband after twenty-four years ... twenty-four irreplacable years ... she had never imagined being a widow this young ... sure, she knew AJ would die a heroes' death, but not this early...

 

She shut her eyes through grief. If only she could alternate reality ...

 

(OOC: and I need to go. What's Dark Crystal's deal with James? Will the Maxwells pull through this tragedy? All shall be revealed tomorrow! ... hopefully)

--actually i got work in a hour so this is my last post.

 

As AJ continued walking he suddenly heard a voice call to him. "Why walk this way my boy?" AJ looked around for the sorce of the voice. "This way is much more plessureable." AJ turned to see a figure who looked like a clown pointing to his left. "Then again...." he disappeared and appeared on another side pointing in said direction. "This way is also lovely as well."

 

"Who are you?" he asked wondering why this figure was. The clown bowed his head low.

 

"My name is Jester, and i am here to guide you on your journey."

OOC: Remember to add the DP from our duel super, it's really annoying being the statistically joint worst duelist in the academy in terms of DP.

 

After a while, Kin left the infirmary, and headed back to his dorm. He thought about AJ and Koga and James, and everything that was going on in this chaotic academy.

Lucy sat down in a tree, asleep. The tree that she was sleeping in was the tree that she would usually sleep in to skip class & rest. After a few moments of shear silence, Lucy's body moved to the left slightly, causing her to fall out of the tree with a rather loud thud. A groan was heard coming from the fallen heap which was Lucy as she hit the ground.

Dark Crystal looked up, a faint smile appearing on her scarlet lips. "I knew we'd get there." She ran her hand slowly up his chest, over his throat and up to his lips. "We can't fight alone; Garnet, the one you seek, is just like her mother. She too has powers, and she too is a dangerous user. To properly take her down will require ... teamwork."

 

"I see," said James coolly, his eyes on her hand. "You want teamwork." His lips were barely moving. This made Dark Crystal smile darkly.

 

"Very clever, I like you too," she told him back in a half-whisper. "My deal is thus; we work together to take down the Maxwells, and the island. In return, I will give you my powers. It's a fair deal in my eyes. The question is -" She leaned towards his ear. "- is it in yours?"

Athrun woke the next morning. His room was empty of people but he didn't care. He didn't want to talk to anyone. Not even Joanna. Suddenly Mrs. Fontaine entered and smiled at him. "You're all better hun. You can leave if you wish." Athrun tried to smile back but he found it difficult. He knew she was tried to brighten his mood a bit, and while he was thankfull, he didn't have the strength to smile yet.

 

"Thank you." he said solemnly and grabbed his things. He went to walk out the door when Fonda spoke again.

 

"I really admired your father. No matter how many times he came into this infermary in bad shape, he'd always walk out with his head held high." she smiled at Athrun once more. "Actually, you remind me of him quite a bit." Athrun stood in the doorway for a bit before nodding. With that motion he stepped out of the infermary to find his friends.

"So why exactly are you following me?" AJ asked the court jester as they both walked in a single direction.

 

"To keep you from straying off. Your legs must be tired. Why do you not rest and regain your stregth. I nice nap perhaps?" AJ didn't look at him.

 

"I don't need it. Plus, this seems like a dull place to take a nap anway."

Lucy picked herself off of the floor, dusting herself down once she had finally gotten up. She flickered the portions of hair that had fallen out of her eyes so that she could see straight again, and took a few steps forward to make sure that she was still able to walk in a straight line. Relieved to find out that she could, she walked off, hoping to find that would actually pay attention to her.

James glanced down at Dark Crystal. "Of course, how could I resist such a ... tempting offer? But there's something else I want." Dark Crystal leaned back and looked up at him. "I find you more exciting than any other woman I've met." One hand on her waist, the other touched the back of her neck as they pulled each other into a kiss.

 

And as they say, never let two evil masterminds run a more intimate relationship.

IC:

luke sat on the beach... thinking... about AJ, garnets father... in the turn of events of AJ's death, he'd forgoten that he didn't like Athrun after their friendship snapped because of Stacy... to be honest he didn't care for that anymore... he just felt sorry for him... for all three of them...

--this is my last post, i got work in an hour

 

Athrun was depressed. There was no other way to put it. He had lost his father and getting him back was impossible. He didn't go to class becuase it reminded him too much about his father. Damion had told the teachers to excuse him and his sister from classes until they felt like they could return. Athrun never wanted to. He wouldn't be able to face anyone like this.

 

Once caring friendly and carismatic was all behind him. All he could do know is rely on his memories. The memories of one never to be forgotten.

Lucy walked off from Athrun to try and find someone to talk to, someone that she could actually remember from a previous time. She walked out onto the beach and looked out at the ocean, before sitting down and starting to throw rocks out to sea. She sighed, wondering about what her next deck would be, knowing that she would want to change. She threw another rock out to sea, before a faint figure appeared next to her in a knelt position. "What to do..." Lucy asked the figure, who just shrugged.

"Saviour... What should we do..?" Lucy asked, turning her head to the figure by her side. The figure just continued to kneel, his shrugged position coming back for a split second before going back to the knelt one. Lucy sighed, before throwing another rock out to sea. "Darn... I'm so bored since I got back, it's like everyone has forgotten me..." Lucy sighed again, before scratching the back of her head and getting out of the sand, moving further down the beach to go and find something to do.

The two unlikely couple finally broke from the kiss. Dark Crystal stepped back from him and began to circle him. "Now, let's get down to business shall we? I want to take down Crystal, and you seek Garnet. How very fitting. But first, what will you do with Clarkson and Hammond? I presume they would have failed to notice a radical change in your attitude."

 

"And they very aptly haven't," continued James. "I will sort them out myself. After all, I now have power beyond their control. And once the two incompetent fools are out of the way, then I can continue in peace." He quickly looked at her. "With you by my side, of course." Dark Crystal smiled.

 

"Indeed. After all, two minds are always better than one."
