Luke walks into the infirmary "yeah, at least you are... geez, you should learn to be more careful, I was worried about you cousin... At least try to protect yourself next time?"

Athrun and AJ just walked into the infermary. "I heard what happened once i got back!" said Athrun looking at his beat up friends.

 

"I told Crystal that i would check on Garnet. Is she ok?" Suddenly Athrun took a look at Ryu.

 

"My god, what happened to you?!"

"I'm fine, but apparently nobody else thinks so." he laughs a little."So I got made into Swiss cheese, as long as you guys are fine, so am I." He tries to get up but the nurse siply pushes him back down with her index finger.

 

"You aren't going anywhere for a long while." she states

He turns to Athrun and sighs "He tried to fight a monster and crazed maniac kinda like the ones my dad had trouble with... with just his fists and a little support from me and arnet, well, as much as we could do while we were trying to free Satsujin..."

[~Kefka~]

AJ smiles. "Sounds like your father. Rushing into trouble and getting seriously hurt. But he always came out ok in the end. Even if he did endanger me your mother and Seijin." Athrun sweatdropped.

 

"Good to see you guys are ok though." Suddenly Athrun turned serious. " So what about the Knights? Any word on them?"

OOC:I counted Seven Slashes, and two impalement's on Ryu, dang.

 

Ryu: well, I haven't been able to summon any, apparently I'm not emotional enough." he says almost a little sad that he hasn't been attacked."I hope to face one soon, they sound tough.

He looks at Ryu and sighs "You're not 'not emotional enough' Ryu, you just haven't quite made it... and I'm sure there's only one of each knight, so that means, even if you show enough emotion, if it's busy, it won't come..." Then he notices what AJ said "Wait a sec... my father never endangerd any of you guys! Wait... yes he did... just a little, but never my mum! he wouldn't do such a thing... not to mum..."

"No, but my dad sure did endanger her quite a few times, he was a silly goofball." then the doors open."I didn't mean it dad I'm sorry!" it turns out to just be the nurse with his lunch." oh, okay, I'm sorry, I didn't know who it was.

Athrun suddenly looked at his watch. "Oh crud, if i don't hurry i'm gonna be late!' AJ turned to his son and spoke.

 

"Late for what Athrun?"

 

"Joanna asked me if i wanted to go to the shore with her and her friends after she got done classes so i'm gonna go now." He turns on his heels and begins to run out. "Later guys! I'll come visit again later!" With that he was out of sight.

Ryu then thinks about how he said Joanna's friends will be there."Take me with you!" the nurse holds him down."oh come on! ow my back!"

 

The nurse sighs,"that's what you get."

Luke sighs "Ryu... you never change... alwaays after girls... learn to be patient, you know hwat they say: 'Good things come to those who wait' So just be patient, that's what i was before i had a friend" He smiles

"see, you should listen to your cousin, he seems to know what he's talking about" the nurse says to him.

 

Ryu just laid back."fine, I'll be nice. by the way, how's Garnet and Raiden doing?"

He shakes his haid and sits on Ryu's bed "I'm afraid I don't know, I haven't seen the two of them since yesterdays events" he sighs "I hope they haven't got in any trouble without telling us..." he laughs a little

AJ smiled. "Yep, just like their fathers." Once Athrun got to the beach he found Joanna there with around 8 other people.

 

"Hey Athrun!!!" Joanna was waving to him. He smiled back and made his way towards the Obelisk. Suddenly 4 males poopped up in front of Athrun.

 

"What do you think you're doing here slacker?" A boy with jet black hair said coldly.

 

"Bret stop it. He's one of my friends you know!" said Joanna walking over. Bret turned and laughed.

 

"You're making friends with the bottom of the barrel now? Sometimes you're just to friendly for your own good."

 

"Why don't you back off? Or are your dueling skills as bad as your way of talking to girls?" Suddenly the boy lifted Athrun off his feet.

 

"What you say runt?!" Joanna had seen enough.

 

"Either put him down or leave! I invited him becuase he's my friend Bret and if you can't deal with it then i don't want any part of you!"

Garnet teleported to where Athrun and Joanna were. "Oooo bro has got himself into trouble." She was about to send a small tongue of flame towards Bolt when she realised Joanna was there. She sank back into the shadows, acting as if she had never arrived.

Bret looked at Joanna then back at Athrun. "You're right. A beating is too good for this kid." He puts him down. "Then how bout this? We duel. I win you get out of my sight and never talk to Joanna again." Athrun nodded and activated his duel disk.

 

"Fine. I win and you leave and you leave me and Joanna alone!" Bret nodded.

 

"May as well agree. You're gonna lose anyway!" He said activating his disk. The group split and Joanna watched from the side lines.

 

"Why do boys have to act this way?"

 

"DUEL!!!"

Ryu just looked up at the roof of his room,"stuck here for a week dang it! I wonder what's going on at the shore, I bet Athrun's having the time of his life."he tries moving again when the nurse goes ahead and Velcro tapes him to the bed."What the hell?"

[~Kefka~]

Athrun drew first. "I'll begin with a monster face down. Then i'll lay 2 cards face down and end there." Bret laughed.

 

"What a peice of trash. This'll be a snap! I'll begin by summoning Mezuki in attack mode! (1700) Now i'll attack your monster!" Mezuki slashed and Speed Warrior was cut in two. "I'll place a card face down and end.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

Ryu feels something."There's a disturbance in the force! someone is interrupting with love! I will not stand for this!" he says trying to shake himself free.

 

"You're not allowed to stand at all." the nurse replies, "we don't want you getting hurt anymore."

Luke, still next to Ryu, sighs "Hey Ryu, no offence, but if there's a disterbance in the force.. of 'love' then you're not exactly gonna be able to do anything are you, I think it's just an excuse to get over to Joanna's friends aren't you..."

"I'll summon my Junk Synchron (1300) next i'll use his effect to bring back my Speed Warrior (900) Now let's see if a bone head like you can stand this. I'll tune my Junk Synchron and Speed Warrior together! Synchro Summon, JUNK WARRIOR!" (2300) Bret was dumbstruck.

 

"That slack knows how to synchro summon?!"

 

"Junk Warrior attack Mezuki! Scrap Fist!" Breta wasn't going down so easily.

 

"Yeah right! I'll activate my Mirror Force trap. So say goodbye to Junk Warrior!" Athrun smirked.

 

"And say goodbye to Mirror Force, cause i'll activate my Trap Stun. Now your trap is negated and your monster is toast!" Scrap Fist hit Mezuki and dropped Brets LP by 600.

 

Athrun: 4000

Bret: 3400

 

"One more face down and i'm done there!"

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"No, seriously, can't you feel it? it seems someone's messing with Athrun. maybe you should go check it out, since I'm on lock down." he reaches for a book on he table."and when everything's done, then you get the girls number's in that book."

He shakes his head "Typical, trust you, I'll go see what's going on down there... but I'm not hooking you up!" he leavs the room, and leavs the book on the table, he calls back to Ryu as he leaves "Just be patient!"

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Great....now what?" he asks as he feels the door close.

 

"How about some educational television?" asks the nurse as she turns the TV on.

 

Ryu's eyes grow wide."Educational? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
