I wish it was that easy. Actually, it's about 4-5 miles to the beach (the one closest to me) so I have to ask my mom to drive me (seeing as I won't be old enough to drive for the next 4 months). Today is the hottest day of the year for UK according to the weather report earlier on, it is 31 degrees. I have about 90 minutes away from the nearest beach, but a rocky beach.
