So Failblog.org just attacked my computer...

There's actually this fake virus destruction thing that pops up every now and then' date=' and it says you have a certain amount of trojans on 4 different files, and the amount of trojans on each file is the same, and so are the files.

I can't remember the number of trojans it says, but it will do a fake virus scan, and keep begging you to run this virus eliminator, which is probably a fake. I saw it once, ignored. Saw it again like a week ago, and it was the same amount of trojans n' stuff.

So I was liek "Dood, dis stuf iz faek."

You have a spyware. Virus scan, NAO.

Not quite. Because I was on two different computers on each time. Same amount of trojans on each file, and same website I was on when it happened.

Coincidence? I think not.

Happened to me aswel.

I just crap myself and closed all my browsers, pulled out the internet cable then I pulled out the power cord, kicked the power point, cried for a while, got back up, re-connected the cords and bingo, nothing happened ^-^.

So if it happens to you, try doing that to stop viruses. The crappy thing is that your toes hurts for a while.....

Avast slowed my computer down loads. My computer had Norton when I got it' date=' is that any good? Or is there another option which would work?

Norton should be good or nobody would pay for it. Just like Photoshop.

Kaspersky and CA, in my opinion, are the two best out there. I used to use CA, but my subscription ran out. So right now I'm using a mixture of AVG Free Anti-Virus and Zone-Alarm firewall. That combination is probably your best bet if you're not looking to spend any money at all.

That's cause you're a pirate. :-D

You could also pirate Kaspersky and CA, but I really wouldn't recommend pirating anti-virus programs. It's smarter just to buy them.
