PoC is banned because of it's abuse with cards that are themselves balanced because of their summon condition, which PoC doesn't have.Why is Black Whirlwind limited' date=' instead of banned?[/quote'] It's only broken when it interacts with other copies. No it's not. It's broken when it stays on he field for longer then 1 turn. Otherwise it turns all of the bigger Blackwings into Gadgets that can tutor for just about anything you could need. Stratos is one monster, however this makes every monster in to a Stratos, or as Pika said a Gadgets. Even Stratos ends after 3 uses, but here it just keeps creating advantage. Cards whose OTKs are so weak as to have no significant impact on the game do not directly damage the game. However, they act as traps to lure bad players into thinking they are good and running them. This causes bad players to lose more often, increasing the impact of skill on the game and thus improving the game state. Contrary to what is intuitive, bad cards are absolutely vital to the game, as they make it easier for the superior players to triumph more consistently over the inferior players. It only is better than Stratos at one' date=' if you have it on the field for multiple turns, which is unlikely.[/quote'] If you're building your format in such a way that everyone needs to be able to plop down some s/t removal on any given turn or concede defeat and proceed to Game 2, then to be quite honest you're almost certainly building your format wrong. After all, BLS-Envoy is "just a better" Chaos Sorcerer. The phrase means nothing in terms of judging whether or not something is bannable or not. Secondly, for reasons already spelled out by people who could type faster then I could, this card gives every single monster in your deck a Stratos effect. We have the tools to make a deck that can make it go faster and still be Consitent Enough 3 x Necroface3 x Plaguespreader3 x Dimmensional Alchemist3 x Cyber Valley3 x Magician of Faith3 x Shutendoji3 x Allure3 x Gold Sarcophagus3 x Foolish3 x Dimmensional Fissure3 x DDR3 x Amrz Hole This is enough Arsenal to have a Decent Build with enough Speed to even FTK Im also not a fan of 3 x Dustshoot when 1 of then is already considered bad for the game....
