behold my reasons to stop playing:

-5 more months of not getting a turn because of infernities

-starlight road stopping all my feeble attempts to use cards.

-fishborg is level 1

-the water support is half assed

-old problems are still there.

-yugiohnetwork is gay. no one knows how to play or speak. it also lags.

-the ice boundary synchros arent out yet, limiting my water deck's stepping stone ability.

-i cant make a level 8 with my water deck.

-xsabers feel just as gay as gbs. but that might just be my imagination.

-infernities.

-the rng on yugiohnetwork screws me every time

-no one to play with.

because on WC10 you also have cpu opponents, and you are usualy paired aganist people of your level online after a little while.

 

and on DMG, it's rarely ever random, but not often meta, so it actually gets to be fun.

i went to college. and no one here plays childrens card games. but my peoples back home does. so at the moment, i has no one real to play with. online gaming is faggotry.

that only makes a level 6. fml. its only a -1 for a level 6, but still. its dick. then if i have alo out, all 3 of those only make a level 3. what the funk.

1- i did not know that. its still only level 5 though. one of those obscure rulings i wasnt aware of. dont act so condescendingly though, just to plug a meme. seriously, what a tool. its an obscure ruling thats applicable in all of 4 situations ever. this being one of them.

2- once more, meme plugging, and poorly done at that. 'i went to college' was a part of a story. plugging the plankton joke would have been funny if i was using college as some sort of 'i'm smart' argument. here it really isnt applicable. you're just plugging a meme in order to try and impress people. what a tool. also, the image didnt load. so you're a failed tool.

I'll admit that years ago when it was a single meta and all good decent cards cost quite a bit but lately the metagame has gotten pretty varied. It's not impossible to make a good deck on a budget. In fact, most of the interesting and fun to play decks are probably some of the cheapest.

 

Just drop 30 bucks, pick up a few structure decks, and make a better deck. I think 3x of the newest Machine one is pretty decent.

Sometimes I get frustrated and want to quit too. Machinas are too popular, my plant synchro thing is too much like Quickdraw, and anything else fun is out of budget. So now I'm going to try a macro-oppression-Monarch-Barbaros-Eatos thing.

good response up until the meme plug. you almost had me believing you were an intelligent person.

 

i do play undersupported types, and i attempt to make them playable. its my hobby. but when i pick up something that, in theory, seems like a decktype with incredible potential, only to get blown up by that disgusting mess called infernities.. yeah, its pretty rageful. dont for a minute tell me you can get ftk'd without playing a card, look your opponent dead in the eye, say 'good game' and mean it. it has nothing to do with good deck construction or good playing. most of these baka just netdeck it and the decks run themselves. and the very notion that i have to deal with 5 more months of it is insane.

 

i havent really played against machines, or with them for that matter. i've been out of the loop because i'm so far away from my sad little card shop. so i'm pretty much limited to playing yugiohnetwork, full of viets, english people who dont speak english, nooblets who dont want to drop money on the game, lag, etc. or i can play wc10... and honestly having played it, it just seems annoying.

 

there's no substitute for the actual feel of cards in your hand and sound of decks shuffling. its the ambiance of the game that makes it so endearing. and the camaraderie of playing with friends, raging over a bad ruling, laughing over a silly move, bragging and taunting and etc. the experience is the best part. you get none of that on shitty duel interfaces. honestly, they should only be used to test decks.

 

 

also, i'm mostly blaming konami for pseudo supporting my deck type. like it gives me a lot of options that look good, only to find out theyre mediocre. like moray. looks sweet, until you realize your deck only -1's, and youve lost 2 monsters (assuming you draw none). or fishborg, who's like a free synchro every turn, but it takes so much god damn advantage to make it happen.

 

and a little rage comes from the ice boundary synchros fitting so perfectly with my deck, and me not being able to use em for an undetermined amount of time.

 

its a lot of things.

 

and if you dont care as you claim, dont bother posting. it isnt your civic duty to come in and post, then when you get flamed for being a troll, to whine like you werent really interested in the first place. yeesh. so transparent.

 

 

 

also, genzo.... really? like, i'd rant, but its been done 3 or 4 times already. youre just like, the last guy to the party, acting like youre original and genius. not worth my time. (and fyi, i would like to play senet).
