Why does this card not see more play? With all the special summoning dickery going around, your opponent could easily end up with a high number of monsters in just a turn.

"Lol, flip Gravekeeper's Spy. Summon Cat."

"Lol, Rekindling."

"Lol, Dandylion, Quickdraw Synchro, Normal Summon"

"Lol, Blackwing tomfoolery"

"Lol, Lumina, Garoth, Wolf, your monster."

Not to mention that your monsters and set monsters still count towards the four monster requirement.

So... will YCM now play this card moar often? =D?

Some guy sided this against Zombies at locals (last format). Zombie guy Mezuki's for Master, discards to bring back Goblin and then summons Diva. He got Needle Ceiling'd when the 2nd Diva came out, followed by cheers from the crowd over the fact that he had just got utterly destroyed by such an overlooked card.

Considering the fact that my next deck isn't going to side any monsters, I might even have room for this.

Terrorists: Zero

So anyone who doesnt run this is a "terrorist"?

Meh' date=' Starlight Road blocks a bunch of stuff though, yet we all still run Mirror Force and w/e.

[/quote']

Its because stuff like Mirror Force is so widley known, and people still want 500 copies of it.

Yes.

You made a thread on this card before and as soon as I thought about it I was like' date=' wow that is a good card. Since little has changed since then I still think that this is a good card.

[/quote']

Indeed. The topic was mostly just to either reach people who didn't see it the first time around, or to remind them of this card's existence if they undid side decks or what have you. And also because I thought the "side deck tech for the format: ojama trio" topic was really, really stupid since Needle Ceiling works much better IMO. <_<

Good guys: Three

Terrorists: Zero

It's practically an unlimited Torrential. I was dueling this one CPU in WC10 - he used some WATER deck with lots of the new WATER support, and I was using Quickdraw Dandywarriors (yup, that). I steamrolled right over him, except every duel took forever because he'd nuke my advantage with this. I even lost once because of it.

Not a bad card, but cards that destroy multiple cards are declining in popularity since the release of Starlight Road. Ever since Road came out, I've been maining MSTs, Dust Tornados, and D-Prisons over Storm, Mirror Force, and Torrential. The damn card's just been used against me too many times.

This card really isn't that good.

While it can possibly lead to a +3, there are so many things you must consider.

Firstly, is Starlight Road, many people are running this card this format, because of higher profile cards like Mirror Force, Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute, Icarus Attack, Judgment Dragon, Celestia, etc. Giving your opponent a free Stardust is terrible this format, because its a 2500 floater that will stop 1 negation, then be fuel for Pot of Avarice.

Secondly is the activation. The board position requires 4 monsters to be on the board, in any position. To really make this card worthwhile is the fact that you need your monsters face down, and your opponent's monsters Face-up. A majority of decks this format usually set their first turn, getting a very hard to beat set up, as it allows them to flip first, and then gain more tempo/control. Stuff like Ryko/Spy/Hamster really make this card useless. Ryko kills this card. Spy fetchs Descendant and kills it. Hamster gets Ryko and then gets tributed for Caius, killing your monster/this card.

Overall, its meh in my book.

Good Guys: Thirteen.

Terrorists: One.

... But on a serious, not trolly, not +1 Post Count note, I thought it was lightly implied that this card be used in a deck like the one you described...

As for Starlight Road, I've not been to a tournament in about 5 or 6 months so I can neither confirm nor deny your claim.

I don't see how opening turn spy would be a problem though. Your opponents set Spy. You set or summon some random guy. Opponent flips spy. Opponent summons any random tuner and prepares to Synchro. Flip Needle Ceiling.
