I think it may be a decent side tech against decks that rely completely on their Synchros. Yes, there are a few.

synchros are the best cards in the game. So I guess Konami wanted to make a bunch of counters so they don't have to use the ban list or something. Too bad most of those cards are too situational and outclassed by good old staples and decent side decking.

This is a decent card but I'd still personally rather just completely negate the summon of a Synchro outright since this doesn't stop their effects from being used. I do like that it effects all Synchros however.

I'm betting the TCG R&D department doesn't like synchros, but has to use them because of the anime, so they get spiteful and make stuff like this.
