Toffee.
You know, stuff like these? Aside from the obveious "they can end up as dead draws" part, whats your opinion on them? Decks that consist of effectivly 1 Attribute benefit from these. And they tend to be a problem when your opponent spams the field with low-level monsters that have about 2100-ish ATK. Discuss Field Spells that offer ATK bonuses and such.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
the comps on the old games run Luminous Spark and Plasma Zone..... really dont see why. There's not bad but there's better field spells cards you can use.

Because a type covers a larger range of cards which work together better so giving them more than a 200 boost would be broken. Also, they give a DEF boost instead of a penalty, which makes the type boosters much more effective. In fact, they should probably be weakened slightly to prevent abuse.[/Konami]

burnpsy
Out of all Field Spells not yet mentioned, I'd like to bring up Barrier of Light and Array of Revealing Light. While they don't boost ATK and aren't seen much, they can still be quite decent. Anyways, all of them are Ancient Fairy Dragon food.

burnpsy
One can use Map for ATK boosting if they use a build focused on spamming counters. In fact... *runs to the Your Deck section to try that version of Morphs*

metalflygon08
Geartown's just to awsome to be in league with those other field spells, what FS by it'self allows you to summon a 3000ATK beater whose not afraid of Traps when it attacks, and it can be the 3000ATK beater you used for Trade-In! Thomas★Zero
Luninous spark would fit well for a BEWD deck for its Sin counter parts effects while making other BEWD monsters and ect stronger aswell
Aximil
Anyways' date=' all of them are Ancient Fairy Dragon food.[/quote'] I'm pretty sure Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins would like to argue with that. I'm sticking by it being the best field spell. Can't be killed when a condition (that the deck focuses around) is met, halves damage (may not sound good, but I'd rather take 4000 than 8000), can tribute a CB to negate a Spell or Trap card (Dark Bribe but for the cost of a monster that can easily be put back onto the backrow), Upstart Goblin once per turn without giving your opponent lifepoints, and then a massive swarm.
