Also' date=' the weakest banned card is [b']Last Turn.[/b]

lolwut? You do realize how easily it could be abused.

I missed the time where Last Turn was around. If it's played, I'd have to say that it would just cause a bunch of DRAWs. I know I'm missing something though.

lolwut? It's almost like I was being sarcastic or something.

You're missing plenty of useful cards with Last Turn. Honestly, it's not that hard to figure out.

Ah, and I was thinking about something I would like to be seriously discussed (yes, seriously). Pot of Greed would be splashed in ANY deck - i.e. all decks would have a copy. So would it really damage the game, since all decks have a generic draw?

I think Tsukiomi and Time seal

2 Words.

Tsukuyomi Abuse.

Tsukuyomi Abuse centers around the monster Tsukuyomi' date=' and it revolves around using her ability to flip Monster Cards face-down, allowing their effects to be re-used.

Examples:

Flipping up Mask of Darkness, and returning Time Seal to your hand. Then set Time Seal and continuously do this in a loop to prevent your opponent from drawing any new cards.

Flipping up Magician of Faith, and returning one of the following to your hand:

Smashing Ground or Fissure, to get rid of face-up monsters

Mystical Space Typhoon, to destroy Spells and Traps

Nobleman of Crossout, to remove face-downs

Swords of Revealing Light, to prevent your opponent from attacking

This allows singular cards to be removed, so Tsukuyomi can be summoned, flipping Magician of Faith face-down, and enabling Tsukuyomi to attack directly.

Flipping up Old Vindictive Magician/Man-Eater Bug, destroying an opponent's monster, and then summoning Tsukuyomi, flipping Old Vindictive Magician face-down, and enabling Tsukuyomi to attack directly.

Tsukuyomi

Thousand-Eyes Restrict

This combo allows you to use the effect of Thousand-Eyes Restrict each turn to turn a monster into an equip card, then use Tsukuyomi to flip Thousand-Eyes Restrict face down to destroy the monster that has become an equiped card.

This combo is now utterly dead in the Advanced Format as of September 1st 2006.

Activate Swords of Revealing Light. Once Swords of Revealing Light is almost gone, use Giant Trunade to re-activate Swords of Revealing Light. By using Tsukuyomi on Magician of Faith, you can bring back Giant Trunade and thus re-activating Swords of Revealing Light. This combo will not let your opponent ever attack you. To add on to this combo, you can use Needle Worm's effect along with Tsukuyomi to make your opponent lose all the cards in his/her deck, thus making your opponent lose.

This and the other Spirit Monsters can waste Light and Darkness Dragon's effect. Due to the fact that the spirit bounce effect is obligatory during the End Phase, LaDD will negate the Spirit's effect again and again until it has a low ATK.

Some Higher level monsters will have a lower level defence, and example would be Colossal Fighter you can use Tsukuyomi's effect to put him into defence possition and destroy him.

[s']I wrote that all by myself[/s]

For the millionth time, JOWGEN THE SPIRITUALIST!

Time seal should stay at 0.

It's not at all weak.

It's just twice as good as Drastic Drop-Off' date=' and nobody uses Drastic Drop-Off. Should be Limited. Then, Mask of Darkness should be also Limited.

Least versatile card in the game. True story.

Once again, I have lost all faith on this site.

Tsukuyomi is the problem card, not Time Seal. If you do that properly, Drop-Off would be just as good.

@Scatty:

Can you explain how Pot of Greed is a versatile card?

You can activate it any time' date=' it has no requirements. Also, many people use Allure, and Pot can replace it perfectly. Also, it's a clear and pure +1.

And Drop Off can be countered via Silva, Gold, Malicious, etc ...

Time Seal can't.

I did not say Time Seal=Drop Off, I said Time Seal is twice as good as Drop Off, and nobody uses Drop Off. Anyway, you don't see many Dark World Decks nowadays...

1. Definition of "versatile": having or capable of many uses

Pot of Greed's only use is to use it in order to draw 2 cards.

2. Time Seal is one of those cards that might not ruin the current format, but have the potential to destroy a slower and better one combined with the other 2 similar cards that are still unbanned, because they are easily counterable.

Dark Worlds don't see play, because they don't need to. I can guarantee that if hand control becomes viable again, everyone will side Gold and/or Silva.

I find people side the DW's against the Gottoms saber loops anyway.
