A topic about just Elemental Heros, in general

Recommended Posts

I'm not even going to comment on how 90% of this page is massive failure

(but lets leave the wiki's terribleness out of this, K?)

Elemental Heros, IMO, are one of the most fun Archetypes to have ben created.

And to be honest, they became pretty flexible as they printed E-Hero Fusions with attribute-specific Fusion monsters.

And as always, theres the various ways we have seen them on YCM:

Rat Heros

Generic fail-build

My version of "Fail Heros"

Big City

Little City

E-Heros + Cyber Dragon

And even a build that focuses on Bladedge.

Elemental Heroes are really a flexible archetype, but so much emphasis in the anime was on throwing all sorts of card-specific "support" in with fusion-related cards, that less-than-brilliant people began building decks trying to utilize the support. One of the greatest issues with Eheroes as a whole is that so many of the packs in the GX era revolved around their support, much of which was getting worse and worse as the series went on, often leaving plenty of packs with just horrible cards abound in it.

Fusion Heroes are probably one of the most flexible deck types, but the limit of 15 cards to the Extra deck is really hurting them. Rampart Blaster could have been cool, but it has a REALLY stupid ruling about its direct attack, and so it's one of the worst Ehero Fusions.

The Attribute Fusions are kickass and they need to release them quickly. Super Polymerization makes those awesome.

Most of the heroes have low stats and no effects, which can either hurt or help them, depending on what type of deck is being run. Normal-based fusions can use Dark Factory to bring two for a Fusion, and just the fact almost every Ehero can fuse with another makes for a powerful strategy, albeit a touch inconsistent.

Evil Heroes also use the Elemental ones as Fusion Material and they have MUCH stronger effects than their righteous counterparts. Stratos and Ocean both support Ehero, Dhero and E-hero archetypes, but I personally think the Evil Heroes need more fusion support.

Absolute Zero is the best Elemental Hero imo, tied with Stratos (one of the best generic searchers in the game imo).

Heroes have so much support, and miracle fusion makes fusion summons less wasteful.

I prefer Rat Heroes and Zero Builds, they seem to be the most consistent. Absolute Zero even makes Polymerization and King of the Swamp playable (thank you Debris Dragon and Gungnir, which we will likely get by Hidden Arsenal 3)

King of the Swamp, but only if your running Debris, is like the only real exception to running Polymer.

But you want to always run more Miracle Fusion then Polymerization

I agree. They are fun. I have a casual E-Hero deck in WC10. It focuses on summoning Shining Flare/Shining Phoneix/Flame Wingman/Pheonix Enforcer. I can usually get at least 2 of those fusions out in a single game. Combine with Sparkman to pwn.

On another note...Why do a good number of the n00bs on this site insist on running terribad highlander heroes? No 3x E-Call. No 3x Miracle Fuse...and they run things like Hero Signal and HERO Flash! And they have to include 1 of every Hero. Sometimes they even mix with Neo Spacians.

Not really a fan of using the inferior Fusions like Flame Wingman or Phoenix Enforcer but I've seen that Deck and it looks promising.

No idea but it's pretty much been that way since I've been here. You also forgot to mention the no Prisma.

I highlandered crap heroes and neo-spacians together back in the day...I never used the deck though.

I actually have an untested deck posted on YCM that uses vanilla heroes with HERO Flash! for massive damage.

You forgot to mention that some people even run Winged Kuriboh with heroes (one who will remain nameless.)

They are fun. They can even be surprisingly useful' date=' but they're not a meta worthy thing to talk about.

But fun.

I hope we get the last of those "Attribute" Hero Fusions, like the Shining, so we can get DARK and such.

[/quote']

I'd think some builds running Alius &/or Zero would be meta worthy.

*Points out theirs a E-hero variant that hasn't been mentioned*

Infinty Hero

Fusion Gate + Chain Material = Spam the funk out the fusion use untill you end up with a 10000 ATK or higher Elemental Hero The shining which can be backed up with an Elemental Hero Electrum with paralle world fusion

A pity that Chain Material kills your monster before it ever has the chance to attack and thus renders your spamming completely pointless. Unless you're saying you don't use Chain Material's effect for the final fusion, but even so, Chain Material skips your Battle Phase for the turn, so you won't be able to reap the benefits that turn.

Super Poly is awesome. Which Synchro Fusions coming out (Surging Knight, cough), it'll be even better. Now if only the other Attribute Fusions would arrive. We have Gaia and Zero, but need Tornado and Shining. Then maybe Fire or Dark will come out?

I run Enchanted Fitting Room Heroes and they are the freaking awesome

IMO' date=' thats the most awesome build for them

(...Though I think I might have ben the one who invented it, but I forget)

Fusion Gate + Chain Material = Spam the f*** out the fusion use untill you end up with a 10000 ATK or higher Elemental Hero The shining which can be backed up with an Elemental Hero Electrum with paralle world fusion

.......Chain Material skips your Battle Phase, and also kills off any Fusion monster you summoned with its effect.

So the above post is pretty much just a set-up for a massive E-Hero beatstick.
