White Void
New Archetype in Starstrike Blast based off of Feudal. Japanese. Mecha. Puppets. When this face-up card on the field is selected as an attack target, change this card to Defense position. If a "Karakuri" monster on the field is destroyed, this card gains 400 attack. Karakuri Shogun Murei/Burei (I've seen both names used so far)EARTH/Machine/7/2600/1900/Synchro/Effect:1 Tuner + 1 Non-Tuner Machine-Type MonsterWhen this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, special summon 1 "Karakuri" monster from your deck. Karakuri Disassembling ManualContinuous Spell:Each time a "Karikuri" monster on the field changes its battle position, place 1 Karakuri Counter on this card (max 2). You can send this card to the graveyard to draw 1 card for each Karakuri Counter on this card. Karakuri Castle of ElementsField Spell:When a "Karakuri" monster you control selects an opponent's face-up monster as an attack target, you can change the battle position of that card. Also, when this face-up card is destroyed, special summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Karakuri" monster from your graveyard to your field. Timed Karakuri BombNormal Trap Card:Activate only when a face-up defense position "Karakuri" monster is selected as an attack target. Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls. Karakuri ResidenceNormal Trap Card:Activate only when the battle position of a face-up "Karakuri" monster is changed. Select 1 card on the field and destroy it. There's also a quick-play that increases attack and def but the amount of the increase is currently unknown so I didn't list it. Seriously though, Mecha Puppets based off of Feudal Japan? It's like Konami knows everything it takes to make me want to play a theme. They're off to a pretty interesting start so far. I've already decided I'm playing these <_< Discuss this archetype. White Void
Additional Karakuri Cards from Reliable Source but not Confirmed by Shriek yet: Karakuri DuplicationNormal Trap Card:Activate only when a face-up "Karakuri" monster you control changes battle positions. Add 1 "Karakuri" monster with the same name from your deck to your hand. Plans of the KarakuriNormal Spell Card:Activate only when there is a "Karakuri" monster on the field. Special Summon 1 "Karakuri" monster from your graveyard in face-up defense position. Also, Mechanical Spider is apparently technically a Karakuri as its Japanese name is Karakuri Kumo (Though we don't have him in English yet so he may very well be one of the OCG exclusives for Starstrike Blast). I really hope Plans of the Karakuri is for real, if it is then I already <3 this archetype more than I thought I ever could for an archetype. White Void
The translation for the Castle right now doesn't mention "you can" before Special Summoning in the text which means no timing issues...though it is preliminary so it will probably end up with "you can" in the final translation. If not, Shogun Spam isn't going to be hard to set up at all. Scrap Recycler also may set-up some interesting plays. I'm really looking forward to building Karakuri Machina. BulletMan
Oh look' date=' YCM is overrating terrible cards again.[/quote'] By themselves, yes. Currently, we don't know if they'll make a good Deck with Machina for sure, but it seems damn good on paper. 8)
Flame Dragon
Oh look' date=' YCM is overrating terrible cards again.[/quote']I wouldn't call them terrible. They have good support and with a decent monster line up. They look fun at the very least.

Great Unclean One: VK
http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=849784 I'm interested in how these decks play now. Plus, their now the new Six Sams.
Darj
The only thing I don't like is that they are EARTH Machines; we have 2 archetypes with that combination already and it is turning boring. But, as it was mentioned, that makes them playable with Machinas.
