I don't give a crap if anyone thinks I'm weird for being a Christian. I am who I am.

But yeah, I agree with Leviticus 18:22; there's a reason God created men to be with women, not other men.

No. My title signifies I'm a Heathen (even though it's a song title), which is a non-Christian. It commonly refers to Pagans, but I'm not Pagan. I don't believe talking to trees is good for my soul. :/

Besides, even before I found that, I have never found gay to be okay. It is absolutely disgusting. I don't give a crap if it's genetic, it's wrong. Men are supposed to lie with women, not with other men. :/

Most of the time being gay is by choice. :/

 

And yet, under that same belief. Most of the time being straight is by choice. Or rather, a product of the times. Gay is neither by choice or natural, as it just happens in a majority of cases. Same with being straight. And anyone lying to themselves is merely mimicking the times (such as David Bowie from 1970-1990 as he was perfectly straight the whole time but claimed to be gay).

 

Mind you, Gay people have been proven to be around in both Animal and Humanoid cultures since the dawn of recorded history. Some cultures even going so far as to base marriage rituals around it (The Spartans comes to mind).

 

Sorry but this sounds like a load of hogwash.

I am not saying the Bible is wrong or right, as it came out around what... 300 AD? With Christs words at 2X AD? Spartans and other cultures that it became prominent in, were BC.

Anyway, the bible may say it is wrong to be gay, but where does it say it's right to hate gays and intrude in their lives, making their existance a living hell? I think whether people dislike gay people or not, they should mind their own damn business and stop caring so much.

 

Even though I'm not pro or anti-gay (I just don't care - they're gay, cool, so what, may I get on with my life now?) I'd like to point out the misconception that disliking/hateing/whatever gay people makes one homophobic. I don't have to remind everyone that homophobic means fear of gays, and fear =/= hate. Moral of the story, don't go around calling people homophobes if they dislike gays, because you're making yourself look as stupid as you're aguing them to be. Blah.

I am a Christian, but I believe everyone has rights to do as they please, as long as it doesn't put others in harm. The Bible says that laziness is a sin, and I am lazy sometimes. However, it says that we can ask God for forgiveness. I'm not that saying that, you know, "LOLZ ME BE DOING BAD THINGS BUT IT BE OK BECAUSE I FORGIVEN". According to the Bible, we should steer clear from sin as much as possible.

Totally agree. I'm not just sucking up, what Crab's saying makes sense and IMO homophobia should be viewed as negatively as racism.
