Flame Dragon
Tru dat. I don't want people exploiting the fact that they're homosexual. Do it in a way' date=' so that people know that your gay, but don't run around New York in a Speedo with a pink mohawk shouting that you're "a queer." Personal Experience.[/quote']That's how New York is. Some of the things you see their are just "lol, WTF, please stop" That's normally when problems start. Survivor
True. I just believe that if they choose to be that way, don't exploit it. I don't find it inappropriate to be private about it. Not closeted, but not loud and proud like some homosexuals do. Just be that way with the person you choose. And don't get married. It is for a man and a woman. Dark
Actually, the logic that marriage is "for men and women" is a wrong belief. Marriage is the joining of two people, regardless of race, gender and regardless of sexual orientation. And I laugh at how most marriages are done through a religious institution, when marriage itself deals moreso with the government. But too bad the Christian people will kill me now for saying the State and the church should be seperate. This is my last post, guys.
Yasu
I also don't get it how people marry by a religious institution. I find it unnecessary. But that's just my opinion. But too bad the Christian people will kill me now for saying the State and the church should be separate. This is my last post' date=' guys.[/quote'] Nobody's going to kill you for sharing you opinion.I mean, this is YC...Forget it.
Dark
Oh god, thank you for that fix. Now I need to drill into my head that "separate" has two "a"s in it, otherwise I'll just throw myself in a fire. Yeah, absolutely no one will kill me for sharing my opinion. You are right! Except for that guy, and him, and him, and her, and him... yeah...
Dr. Cakey
I believe that people have the right to be attracted to others of their same sex' date=' but I don't believe in the marriage or sexual activity of homosexuals. God created us to reproduce with those opposite of us. These, however, are my personal opinions, so if someone wants to come and judge me based off of these vaules, f*** OFF.[/quote'] Luckily for you, homosexuals cannot reproduce with one another...unless by reproduction you meant the sexual activity you mentioned in the previous sentence. And yes, I would very much like to judge you based on these values. In fact, I already have. True. I just believe that if they choose to be that way' date=' don't exploit it. I don't find it inappropriate to be private about it. Not closeted, but not loud and proud like some homosexuals do. Just be that way with the person you choose. And don't get married. It is for a man and a woman.[/quote'] The definition of marriage is a tangled one. Suffice to say, marriage in the US is an economic entity, not a religious one. So saying that homosexuals should not be able to marry is not just a religious belief - it's part of your political position that certain groups should not be allowed to participate parts of government. Supreme Gamesmaster
Actually' date=' I believe Revelation refers to a shiny new Jerusalem, but I don't recall. Although my Christ and the Sacraments teacher (who by the way is more awesome than Chuck Norris) said something closer to the Re-Fusion with God.I believe that's closer to Rapture than Revelation. Revelation is thoroughly unpleasant, even for the Saved. I believe that people have the right to be attracted to others of their same sex' date=' but I don't believe in the marriage or sexual activity of homosexuals. Lesbians will get cloning in a few years, so I guess Fate could, but other than that...And so long as they're your personal opinions and you aren't trying to shove them down other people's throats, we don't really have a problem with your being a demi-bigot. LarvaeMothKaiba
:/ This is an iffy topic really. Really, your entitled to think aganist the idea, but it's a bit silly to be worring over other peoples choices. I've never really had a problem with the homosexual community, some of my best friends are like that. :/ So I do not understand why choices done by other people which have no impact on you, compell you to the point to make a 7 page debate on it. Supreme Gamesmaster
These pages mostly comprise either people out for +1 post count or, as in my case, people who are so mystified by that very question that they feel they must step in to try and ineffectually hammer some sense into their skulls. It doesn't work that well, but given how many things I've learned from internet arguments, I can hope.

MarbleZone
O MAI GAWD A RELIGIOUS THREAD YCM IS GOING TO EXPLODE WITH IGNORANCE Leviticus 18:22. "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a women; that is detestable." Look it up' date=' that s*** exists. [/quote'] The Leviticus was written circa 1440 BC. It has zero validity for issues of today's society. The Bible can't be consulted and applied to the modern day, be it for religious bashing or supporting a moral opinion. I'll be perfectly honest here - I'm not comfortable around homosexual pairs. I don't hate them, they can do whateverthey want, they can marry, whatever. I'm against adoption but that's another issue.Regardless, I'm still uncomfortable around those couples. When they're by themselves, I can deal with, as long as they're not flamboyantly gay, but if they're hugging and cuddling and kissing, it ticks me off. That said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, it's their life. It was heavily frowned upon back when the Bible was the universal law book, but today's society isn't as religion-dependent as back then, and discriminating the gay community is a short-sighted, archaic line of thought. Dark
I see men and women kissing at my school. I want to put a stop to it; they are being too loud and proud about their heterosexuality. Conversely... I see two men kissing at my school. I want to put a stop to it; they are being too loud and proud about their homosexuality. The Dark One
http://www.sexinchrist.com/threesome.html It's ok to have a threesome as long as there are two girls. Clearly God doesn't hate homosexuals, he just hates male gays. Also known as: The Bible is thousands of years old. There were some dumbasses back then. Guess who wrote it. funking realize that when you read the book.
Dark
Yeah, God never explicitly hated lesbians. MarbleZone
Yeah' date=' God never explicitly hated lesbians.[/quote'] From a very objective perspective, lesbians could still have babies if a man wanted them to, whereas two men would never generate offsprings. Women didn't have much in the way of personal preferences. It probably stems from Man being the dominant gender for most of ancient history. (things worked in ancient history. :P)
