JadenxAtemYAOI
Homosexuality was common in ancient Greek as was pedophilia, both were accepted. In the history of this world many religions have fought one another in control of land and brainwashing. As shown in Italy's past we condemned people and put them to death sometimes if they spoke out against the church. Galileo is an example. He was one of the few astronomers and physiologist who believed that the earth and other planets revolved around the sun. The church denied it and threatened him with death if he didn't withdraw his beliefs. Christianity has many flaws in it and who's to say we should believe in it. I believe in it and I've read the bible. There are many flaws I've found and I've noticed god loves genocide, has a rape fetish, is racist, and is very cruel at times. I'm going to summarize some interesting things God has told his people to do. "If a loved one says lets go worship other gods, stone them" *great I get to kill my bf ):* "If your daughter isn't a virgin when she's married, stone her" *Great now my parents get to stone me* "If your children disobey you, stone them" *we all get stoned, yayz* "No polycotton" *We're all sinning* To just say this into simple sentences don't base your hatred and opinion on LGBT for religious beliefs. -Berserker-
An obvious parallel between homosexuality and mutation is drawn in the film X2, where Iceman's mother asks, "Have you tried not being a mutant?"

Okay.Wait, now I'm actually really curious if anyone claiming being gay is bad or someone playing devil's advocate really has some substantial reasons. It's pretty much certain they're all just raging homophobes damning what they feel sickened by, but whatever. Funny how everyone here is quick to throw their opinion out on the table but never seems to have the proper IQ to expand upon that.

There is no right or wrong. <--- That part is JUST about the Gender Preference Issue. Anything else, this post is NOT about. The only right, is that we need each gender to reproduce and stay afloat as a species. After that, well... It's up to us. CrabHelmet
Because when you boil right down to it. It's all personal opinion. There is no right or wrong. Indeed! It's just like racism, sexism, antisemitism, and anti-left-handedness-ism! It is neither right nor wrong to hate and oppress an arbitrary segment of the population for no reason beyond They're THEM And We're US! I see nothing wrong with that! We were referencing (at least thats what I took it as) as STRICTLY on the Gender Preference issue. Way to rip my words out of context Crabs. Excuse me while I go edit my post so its not blown out of proportion.
~/Coolio Prime\~
Our opinions can, however, oppress those of others. I don't think I have any right to vote about a gay person's right to marriage, for instance.

Alcohol wasn't illegal in any way until the early 1900s or something like that, iirc.

Try comparing it with something actually similar to this situation, like legal racial segregation.
Death Metal
Oh Eury, saying that being gay is wrong in your perspective isn't half as wrong as judging a person based upon their personal choices. The Mad Hatter
After posting a comment on YCM that makes everyone aware of his hate for homosexuals, Mr. Hypocrite types in the URL of YouTube and starts masturbating to lesbians making out. Remember Mr. Hypocrite, lesbians are gay too... Anyway, I really don't see a problem with gay people. If a man wants to have sex with a man, let him, and if a woman wants to have sex with a woman, let her.

Flame Dragon
Moved to debates since this is better there, even if it's likely to die here. On Topic: Who cares? Let them live their life, it isn't hurting any one. It's an unavoidable part of this world, just live with it. And I REALLY don't think God cares what your sexual preference is. Raylen
I find that this topic is a incredible mess of arguments and somewhat time wasting. But heck, it's crazy fun. @ Flame Dragon: I think god cares, except, he gave us a brain to doubt him.
