Ok, Dreadroot, Eraser, Avatar... Wait. Wheres Avatar? (Disc on 2010 tins)

Ok. I have read a few posts about the 2010 tins and I have been watching patiently for the revealed cards. My problem is the only tin without a Wicked God card in it is Majestic Red Dragon. It only has one slot left for a card to be revealed and I, like many others on many Konami Forums, are thinking it WONT be Avatar.

 

With Dreadroot and Eraser being re-released in 2010's Tins it was hoped that Avatar would be released to, giving serious collectors and lovers of the Wicked Gods a chance to get all three once again in a more easier way.

 

With this thought in mind, I looked over why this would happen.

 

Many people don't like Avatar as much as Dreadroot and Eraser. Many on YCM have a large distaste for this card. It's effect is minorly subpar and some view it as... what was the word I read... unrealistic for a card effect.

 

Being a collector and duelist I see a value in all three cards.

 

Would anyone else like to see Avatar released with these tins?

Eraser < Dreadroot < Avatar in regular whatever

Eraser & Avatar < Dreadroot in Dark Gaia OTK, and Dread is easier to use than Raviel.

Funny, because I think Eraser is too unreliable, Dreadroot's awesome, and Avatar just needs a decent monster to combo with.

I love the Avatar just because of the the effect of spell and traps.

 

It can basically be used for 2 turns then a waste.

All the Wicked Gods are terrible. Avatar is the least terrible of them though.

Hardend armed dragon say's hi :3 with giving avitar the effect of being uniffected by card effects thus making Avitar godly

That's true (H.A.D. only protects against being DESTROYED by effects, though), but I was more referring to its ATK power. By itself, Avatar isn't a very threatening monster aside from being impossible to defeat in battle. If it's the only monster out, it can only do 100 damage, but if you have, say, Flamvell Firedog as well, it'll have 2000 ATK. I personally like Wicked Dreadroot + Wicked Avatar. 4000 and 4100 beatsticks, halving all others monsters ATK/DEF. Granted, that's overkill.

 

Hardened Armed would be kind of nifty with Dreadroot. Consistent 4000 ATK, needs something with 8000 ATK to even TRY to kill it in battle. It'd take 2 Honest or an obscenely powerful Light Monster with 1 to do anything. Avatar's inconsistent attack power is its greatest flaw. Such a powerful monster should be able to deal consistent damage, something only Dreadroot does well of the 3.

If avatar isnt going to be sold in the tins along with the others I call fowl on Konami. I really do not wish to pay 19 bucks on ebay or mess around with trying to bid for it. And I have no want to buy it from an other half decent vendor.

 

The closest store to have it near me wants nearly 100 US dollars. Noooo Way.

 

I am still praying one of the non revealed is Avatar. I can hope right.

All the Wicked Gods are terrible. Avatar is the least terrible of them though.

Because Avatar can at least survive a few turns.
